Hi Everyone! My FI and I have rented points from a member at the BWV for our DisneyMoon!

Do you have any tips, must sees, stay away froms, suggestions for us? I want to maximize this trip as best I can so I can convert my soon to be DH from a Disney "liker" to a Disney LOVER (like me!) Thanks!

Danielle

Be sure to visit Jellyrolls, a piano-singalong bar on the Boardwalk.
While at BWV, visit the Belle-Vue room, and sit and enjoy the ambiance.
Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

I think the best tip would be to avoid park commando touring. Have a relaxing trip with time to enjoy some of the other amenities at WDW (spas, miniature golf, etc). Show him that there is more to WDW than just seeing the Mouse or thrill rides.

BWV is a great location for this as you can easily walk to two parks. Lots of restaurant options there too.

I must ask...what is FI?

:rotfl2: This is what happens when a person is on too many message boards. FI is Fiance. Thanks for your tips. I am trying hard to not be park commando and overly planning but I am worried about not having a plan and ADRS

If he's easy going try 50's Prime Time in MGM. My hubby got caught up in the act with the waitress and it was hilarious. Just tell him to -go with it-when you get there. Also the fireworks are great to watch from the beach at the Polynesian. The music plays over the outside speakers. Just grab a drink at the bar and be out about 15-20 minutes before they start to get a chair.

Phew! My imagination was going to the dark side on that abbreviation! :rolleyes1

I think having ADR's and a basic plan make a lot of sense. I was referring to the run, run, run manner that many WDW fanatics use to tour the parks....I could see where that could really turn somebody off to visiting WDW.

Once your FI :rotfl2: sees that there are other things to do, and that WDW can actually be a relaxing, fun place instead of a stressful one, the Disney magic will have a good chance to grab him.

Of course, if you have kids down the road you can just ignore him if he never gets into it and go anyway with them!! :teeth:

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! Try Cape May Clambake, while you are there.

This sounds like something he'd LOVE to do. He's a total water and beach addict (which is why I chose BWV). Can you see the water parade from there to?

Okay it took me about 15 minutes to come up with other words FI could mean. I came up with one colorful one that could apply to him (or any man) at some points. :rotfl2:

We keep going back on forth with the kid issue. Kids or puppies... either way, both can come to the world, so I guess we'll just have to see what fate has instore! Lets hope for puppies.... I could probably really screw up some childs life--- Addicted to Disney, Chocolate, drinks with Rum, theater, music and living on total abandon. :lmao:

Dinner at Palio would be great for a honeymoon.
