I promised my DH one round of golf with his best friend, as both our families will be together, this Sept. at Disney.

If anyone has any extra MCO Entertainment golf coupons that they will not be using please let me know.

Also, has anyone recently found a great golf deal, if so what were the terms, what was the price & would you recommend the course?

Finally, even if it wasn’t super cheap, have you found a really nice course for the money, that you’d recommend?

As Always, Thanks So Much!!!

Go to Orange County Natl. You can usually find a $10 off with free lunch coupon in the books at McD's and such. Play either of 2 courses

OR

They have a 9 hole exec course, par 3s and 4s, for $18 includes cart and a Jr. (16 or under) plays for free with adult. AND you can go around 2x.

My boys take lessons there on Saturday morning. Jr. Program group lesson just $15 each for an hour. Usually they are the group.

I have the Black Bear Golf Club coupon (Eustis), Kissimmee Bay Country Club (requires golf cart rental, $25.00 and reservations), Wedgefield Golf Club (Orlando), Sabal Point (Longwood) Wekiva Golf Club (Longwood) or Twin Rivers (Oviedo, M-F anytime, S-S, after 12pm). All of the above are for buy one, get one free greens fees....none of them are valid on holidays

If you'd like any of them, please PM you mailing address and I'll send them right out.

Thanks so much for the help ~ they will be definately looking for 18 holes (althought the 9 hole does sound like a great deal, esp. for someone w/ a jr.), during a weekday, the week of Sept. 6th, Im getting so excited i can hardly wait!
Happy Thursday Everyone!

If your husband plays after 10am, he can golf at one of the Disney courses at a reduced price. They are calling it "price slice".

Price Slice rates are available starting at 10:00 am from May 17, 2004 - September 30, 2004.

Prices are around $45. If he golfs after 3pm it's even cheaper ($30).

You may be looking for something cheaper than these but I just wanted to let you know it is available. I've always heard the Disney courses are beautiful!

Oh Wow ~ Thanks for the info. Disneyatl, I think those are great rates especially for the courses! We too have never played there, but I can't imagine anything less than par for Disney!
Thanks again, Happy Friday Y'all! pirate:

They haven't offered any in-park resturants yet.... I don't think they will either, in-park is owned by Universal & they don't participate in it. The certificates are from different merchants in Orlando & offered thru the local radio stations there.

they are offering a golf one this week, you may have to click around the different stations listed at the top to find one, but the course is called mystic links if that means anything.

If you are not staying on the Disney property can you use the Disney golf courses at those great prices? Thanks
