This is my first time booking with an online travel co...and although I know Travelocity is reputable I am still a bit nervous. I don't have anything (tickets..) just my confirmation printout from my computer to prove this vacation. I also have never had electronic tickets so this will be a first for me.

If you have booked a package online and have taken your trip can you please give me any info on how things went? I particularly am interested in checking in at the airport and the resort. Do they just give you your hopper passes when you check in at the resort?

Thanks,

Hello,

I've used Expedia twice. Both times, I've only purchased a package (hotel and tickets) and also just had the printouts with me. I've never used it for plane travel as we've driven to Florida both times. We were actually in WDW last month. Both times, at check in, they already had all my information. I didn't even need to show the printouts. I just told the castmember that I was checking in and gave them my name. I just needed to show an ID and give them my address. Since it was a package, our park tickets were included on our hotel key card. Before going last year, I was also worried about using an online service but it was relatively easy and that's why we used it again this year.

Hope this helps.

I've used many of the online sites. Some have it down a little better than others, but I've never had more than a hiccup and never had a problem with Travelocity. If you are paranoid (like me!!), you can call the airline and confirm your flights with them. It's not a bad idea anyway as flight times are always subject to change. That is the one thing about some of the online agencies, sometimes they do not always notify you that you flight times have adjusted. We booked flights to Ireland last year on Orbitz and they never notified us that our flight to Boston & back from Boston had changed. It was just my paranoia that got us that info.:D However, as I remember, Travelocity sends you an email to tell you to click on a link if any changes have been made to your itinerary. I've also never had a problem at the hotel. I would double check that you have your printout and that it has Travelocity's 800 number on it. We had some flights get cancelled because of weather and needed to contact them. Alas, we had forgotten the itinerary and things were more difficult than they should have been. I'm sure everything will be fine & have fun!!

I've used Expedia a few times. No problems. Just bring your printouts with you in case you need them.

Travelocity is great. I use them exclusively for my air fare- I find Ive gotten some really great deals through them.
As far as hotels go, Ive never booked a "package" but I have booked numerous hotels. I have never had a problem.
