Any attractions you wish Disney kept but took out?

So many things:
1. Great Movie ride
2. Backlot tour
3. Muppets, RIP
4. Toon Town-my daughter absolutely loved this as a toddler
5. Mr Toad
6. Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground
7. Kitchen Cabaret-I honestly thought this was a fever dream or some weird 80’s show until recently. When I discovered it was actually real and I’d seen it as a kid it was lightbulb moment😆

I forgot to mention the Skyway. I remember taking a photo from it that captured several nearby attractions, now every one of those is gone along with the Skyway itself. D'oh

Alien Encounter; Mr. Toads ride, Snow White, Great Movie Adventure, Muppets 3D, Food Rocks, Cranium Command, Body Wars, Backstage Tour.

I too miss the Mickey Mouse Revue. Especially the soundtrack. It was right next to and just above the DACS Central computer room where I worked and you could faintly hear the soundtrack all day long.

I don't know how I missed this tread but what a fun walk down memory lane. For me it's:
  • Horions
  • World of Motion
  • Figment (original version)
  • Great Movie Ride
  • If you had wings (love the song)

Also, the AK parade and Rivers of light show. It was great while it lasted.

I miss imaginative attractions such as Horizons , Cranium Command and Timekeeper. I have vivid childhood memories of the soundtrack for If You Had Wings and the moving seats of Mission to Mars. The original version of Figment was also fun. I place Muppetvision 3D on the list as I will miss this attraction immensely during our next trip to the Mouse.

I miss my Snow White’s Scary Adventure
I understand why they removed it, but I still miss it. I really need to go DL to ride it again.

I’m going to add the Stars & Motorcars Parade at HS - that was a fun parade.
and….since I’m on the topic of parades…..I’ll throw in SpectroMagic. Hopefully the new parade will be a good replacement 🤞🏻

Watching the fireworks at Magic Kingdom on July 4 by the Rivers of America, I was stricken by how different the experience will be in a few days - and over the coming years.

I sorely miss Muppetvision 3D (Hollywood Studios is basically dead to me now, I only go because they have the best popcorn stand on property since Cool Ship closed for rebuild - and I like the drink refill machines at Commissary and Backlot). There are others but that one stings the most because it's the freshest.

It certainly does stink that MuppetVision 3D is gone, but it comforts me to know that Disney is looking for a way to preserve the film, and at least the Muppets will still be getting some representation in the Disney Parks (they're taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster), and I'm actually excited about the Monsters, Inc. Door Vault ride--I've always dreamed of an attraction like that!

I thought the giant Sorcerer's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios was cool. I wish it hadn't been torn down.
I also really miss Block Party Bash. That was such a fun parade. I think Disney World needs a new Pixar Pals parade.

In addition to many of the attractions already mentioned (RIP!), I'd add "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire-Play It!", which was so much fun. It moved at a good pace, the host was engaging and funny, and the real stakes (a Disney cruise!) made it exciting. I actually made it onto stage as a contestant once, only to lose a few questions before the final. (On the other hand, I'll never forget that Accra is the capital of Ghana!)

I'd also bring back the Muppets live show in Liberty Square in a heartbeat! I loved it so, so much- even more than Muppet*Vision 3D. It really captured the quintessential Muppet-y innovation and hilarity.

I LOVED Who Wants To Be a Millionaire! Totally forgot about this! My boys also loved the Lights Camera Action stunt show. Ah, memories!
