Any antique, collectible or Russian experts amongst us?

I posted this on the CB, but if anyone else is like me they avoid that board normally. Anyway, I have an item I cannot identify and hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my mystery.

It is a samovar(sp). Russians use it to make tea. We have several of them. We adopted our three children from Russia and made sure each of them had one as a reminder. The one in your picture looks like it is one typically used everyday in a Russian home. They can be very ornate for special occasions.

Donna,
Thank you. Why would it be so small though, is it made in mini as a keepsake?

They make them for one cup of tea as well as for keepsakes. From the looks of your pictures, it looks like it is for one cup of tea. They drink tea in demitasse cups like others drink expresso.

Thank you so much. That would make sense. It's a nice little piece, now I can atleast describe it correctly.
