Any and Everything Princess

Our oldest granddaughter (6) and I are booked on the Magic out of NOLA in February. Dilly is a major girly girl and huge fan of all things princess (along with mermaids, unicorns and lots of glitter). She loves shows, dressing up and character meets. She is also extremely social and loves making friends. It will be just the two of us (PawPaw quickly bowed out!) and my only goal is for her to have as great a time as I can manage.

There will be two days at sea and one port day. We do not plan to leave the ship. I would like to maximize any princess and/or dress up opportunities. What would be the best way to go about this? I’ve been researching but can’t find much info on when the princess are out and about.

I’ve read up on the Royal Gathering and that looks great. How do I maximize our chances of booking this? This is our first Disney cruise.

She can stay dressed up all day if she wants . Or at dinner times . The servers will treat her like a Princess…lol

Do an appointment at Bibbitty Bobbity Boo . You can get her hair done, if you have your own Princess dress it is cheaper just bring it. Lots of glitter in the hair , crown or colourful extensions .

There is no way of know before you get on board which princess will be out. The Royal Gathering is good because you see the Princess all at once. I believe a Princess visits the kids club too.

If you miss one you can always see them on the last night when all the characters and Princess come out to say goodbye and they give everyone 15 minutes to go around one last time. Usually the lines aren’t bad because most have seen who they wanted during the trip. what the app for time .

She will have a great time either way. I miss all this with my daughter.

You can take your own pictures with your phone after photographer does too.

She loved BBB @ WDW. I thought her choices (red dress, pink hair, gold shoes) were, uhm, interesting but she was in heaven.

Princesses may also hang out near the atrium throughout the day, especially around dinner time — I have met Belle and Tiana just standing there.

If you dont manage to get it before boardibg, check the app as soon as you log on to the Disney shipwifi, they usually open additional spots that first day
