Are there any airlines that offer discounted child air fares? We usually fly Delta to Orlando but their web site states they do not offer discounted child fares. I am also planning a trip to New England and was wondering if Continental or United offered discounted child fares. My daughter just turned 2 so I will be buying her a plane ticket for our future trips.

I don't know of any. I believe if you take up a seat you pay a regular fare.

You can find some discounted child fares, but they typically are higher than the deeply discounted adult fares. I have never found a child fare cheaper than a regular seat......

The only time you can usually get a break is if you have an infant under two and they can sit on your lap. The airlines don't need to offer a discount because they can just sell that same seat occupied by a child to an adult. A seat is a seat. Now if two kids could sit in one seat, it may work, but that won't happen.
