Please, I need advice from all of the wise Dis'ers out there who know sooooo much more than myself. :teacher: Also, I am spending too much time obsessing over this trip.

Myself: 34
DH:34
DD:6
DS's:3&2

Dec 9: arrive @MCO @ 5pm. Check in @Pop around 6ish. Dinner @1900PF @820 (the only ADr time I could get). Wanted to see Illuminations but can't get make it due to late seating.

Dec 10: DH golf @9am so can't hit MK until 1-2pm. (Is this too late to beat the crowds, or are they more manageable in early Dec?). Dinner @ CP 5:45.
Spectro @ 9 & wishes @ 10.

Dec 11: MGM. Will it be too crowded if we don't go til after 12pm. I hoped the kids could last through Fantasmic better if we didn't go 'til afternoon.

Dec 12: AK. Donald's @ 8am. Park until the kids get fussy. Back to Pop for nap/pool. Dinner @ WCC 6pm. DTD in the evening. :cool1:

Dec 13: DH golf @9am. Relax, eat swim. Dinner @ Kona 5pm. MVMCP after dinner. :Pinkbounc

Dec14: Return flight leaves 10am

We have the dining plan if that helps with any suggestions.

TIA for any tips/advice. :sunny: I'm up at night worried about my plan.

Oh!!Don't skip Illuminations for a dinner seating! Buy a hot dog and sit down by the lake to eat it if you have to, but DON'T MISS Illuminations! This is the VERY best of Disney! The very BEST! There really aren't words to explain how awesome it is and it looks like that first night is your only chance. This is NOT just some fireworks show... it's an experience like no other!

The week you are going you shouldn't have to worry about it being too crowded. We've done all the parks on off season days where we just walked on to the rides... the second week of December you could be that lucky.

Other than that it looks like you have wisely not over booked your days. It's best to let the days unfold, enjoying the little things. Since your kids are young be prepared to stand in line to see the characters. Your youngest may love them or be scared to death, but the other two will love them! The first time we went I didn't know how it worked and thought they just walked around a waved at people, but NO they have 'positions' they go to, and handlers who line everyone up and then very politely everyone waits for thier turn... then hug, sign an autograph book and pose for a picture! The kids love it! And often there are 5 or 6 characters in one area so you do it over and over. But it's this "Magic" of Disney that brings the joy to being there. I was amazed when my almost 7 year old rough & tough guy, nearly melted into every hug. He loved them! It was magical... and he still loves them at 9!

Just had a thought... do you know you need to be at the Orlando airport ATLEAST two hours ahead of your departing flight? We didn't on our first trip... got there with an hour & a half and MISSED OUR FLIGHT! The line to the check in counter was so long that by the time we got there we had less than one hour and they would not let us check in... that hasn't ever happened to us anywhere but Orlando. Just thought I'd give you a heads up since you'll be out late the night before at MVMCP! :flower:

Great advice, thanks so much. I knew someone would come through! :cloud9:
