We are going to Disney the week of 8/20. I was crazy busy at work and did not do my fast pass + at the date in June, I am so mad at myself!!) Now of course I just tried to get a fast pass + for Anna and Elsa, and of course nothing is available.

So of course my DD who is 6 (all she talks about is meeting Elsa) is going to want to go to the meet and greet at the Magic Kingdom. I would appreciate any game plan for seeing Elsa without a fast pass + pass. (I'm hoping not to wait 6 hours on a line).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Marina

It may be too late, but try an early reservation at the castle for breakfast. We had an 8:05 res in June and got out about 5 minutes before the stampede. We were too late for mine train (which was our goal), but we could have been first at Anna and Elsa.

Of course my boys don't really care, so we just hit everything in fantasyland with no wait.

Won't this "new" system of handing out tickets for return times work to your advantage? Get to the park at RD, go straight to A&E, and get a return time for the meet and greet. Seems like this plan was made for people like you who were unable to get a FP+.

That was only a 3 day test. To the best of my knowledge has not been implemented.

OP I'm sure you are already doing this, but keep trying to look at random times of the day. We leave next week and only got our tickets last week. I managed to get FP+ for Ana and Elsa for my family so it is possible. Other than that if you are night people from what I've heard the lines are better at night. If your a morning person rope drop is probably your best option.

I am so mad at myself! I had no idea making fast pass plus should be done the first possible day, like advance dining...sigh
