Any Advice for Shopping in Grand Cayman?

Since we have to tender in for GC, I would like to do our excursion and finish off w/ some shopping before we get back on the ship. Just looking for good deals on t-shirts, magnets, gifts, things like that.. Any recommendations?

There are a few tshirt shops close to where you will get off and on the tender. I have been twice, and it is really expensive to buy this kind of stuff in GC. Hope you have better luck!

We didn't find very much shopping in Grand Cayman except for souvenir shops. This is only in the area of the pier, though, so we didn't venture out to any other location except to the Turtle Farm and Hell.

Now, Cozumel, had LOTS of shopping -- a nice shopping mall right there with all kinds of "cool" shops for the teens (Quiksilver, etc.)

Fojmo...so the shopping in Cozumel is w/in walking distance, right at the Pier? I just like to get something from each place we go so not looking for big shopping, just souvenir stuff. Although GC shopping did look expensive...even for t-shirts!

Blue Iguana Souvenir Outlet is the best place by far...they have everything in one place and the prices are great. The link I gave is the actual online store but it shows some of the stuff they have...Great kids stuff too.

Its really close to the port so you can go before or after your excursions.

I used the shopping guide that came from the ship and explored a few shops, and was happy with a purchase from the Tommy Hilfiger outlet.

The only thing worth buying on GC is rum cakes, otherwise everything else is expensive, save your money for cozumel. We will be in GC the last week of October so we will be getting a 'Pirates Week' t-shirt for our son who loves pirates.

I'll probably just get a few t-shirts that say GC on them. Also magnets...I collect magnets from every trip we've ever taken. Thanks for the tip in Cozumel...will look for more stuff there. I also found the site for GC shopping and a few souvenir shops have a coupon to print out...so I'll bring that too. thanks for all your help!
