My Party consists of:

Me, 35 years old. Love Disney, dolphins and the sun!
DH, 37 years old. Wants to see some non-disney stuff this time!
DS 15 years old. Loves WWE, computers, fast theme park rides and holidays.
DD 12 years old. Loves swimming, sports, dolphins, Disney and holidays.

Heres our plan so far:

Wed 17th Aug: Land approx 13.15 @ Sanford. Pick up hire car, drive to Regal Palms, Davenport. Get settled in then its off to Publix/Walmart to get stuff we need.
EVENING PLANS: If we’re not shattered, maybe head off to Epcot to catch Illuminations. If we are too tired, plan is to lounge around the pool complex at house.

Thur 18th Aug: Breakfast: Buffet somewhere.
IOA/US Closing times 8pm/9pm
EVENING: Free unless we stay at IOA/US

Fri 19th Aug: Breakfast in house. Off to visit Myakka State park. May follow this with drive to Siesta Key/Turtle Beach for the cooler (In relation!) afternoon and evening.

Sat 20th Aug: Free day or should I say surprise fixed for this day. Kids might check this site! EVENING: Would like to go and watch the cars at Old Town, Kissimmee. Want some Betty Boop and Elvis stuff from here!

Sun 21st Aug: Plans to visit Clearwater Beach today. Going to do the SeaScreamer boat trip. We want to stay for Sunset at Pier 60 so it’ll be a late one. Therefore, might set off late.

Mon 22nd Aug: Busch Gardens-shuts at 6pm. Our first time ever here, so we will probably do the full day. If we can cope with the heat..

Tues 23rd Aug: Off to Blizzard Beach/Typhoon Lagoon (not decided which one yet) for 10am opening. Stay til either lunchtime-ish or til it gets busy! Plan to spend afternoon in Orlando, maybe visit the Science Museum. Evening free up to now, maybe Epcot(if we didn’t go on 17th) or Downtown Disney.

Wed 24th Aug: Still to plan….

Thu 25th Aug: Going to St Augustine. Plan to see Castillo de san Marcus.
EVENING: Disneyquest/Downtown Disney.

Fri 26th Aug: Busch Gardens. Visit No 2. Stay until we have done what we couldn’t do on 22nd and then head back.
EVENING: Free at the moment.

Sat 27th Aug: Check out of Regal Palms house at 11am. Head over to Caribbean Beach Resort to find out which village we’re in! Dump luggage and head off to whichever park is voted highest on the day! AK had the EMH this morning but does this mean MK will be quieter even tho’ it’s a Saturday? Spectro is a possibility at 9pm, followed by Wishes at 10pm.

Sun 28th Aug: Wake up at Disney! Head off for swim at TL/BB. Leave at lunchtime. Drive to Mall @ Millennia where there is a Bonus Gift Promotion on Clinique. LOL
EVENING: Plans a little up in the air about this night!
Either, visit Mk til 9pm, catch Wishes, then jump (!) over to MGM for EMH til 11.30pm. Sounds great to me!
Or we may end up driving to watch WWE Raw Live in Orlando (courtesy of 15yr old sons wishes)

Mon 29th Aug: Extra Magic Hours at Epcot 8am today. We need to ride Soarin’ for the first time ever! Stay til crowds get too bad then hop to a different park or head off site for lunch.
EVENING: Free at the moment. Suspect it wont be hard to fill. Downtown Disney maybe.

Tues 30th Aug: Extra Magic Hours at MGM 8am today. So, if we did miss EMH on the 28th, hopefully we can catch up here.
Back to CBR for swim at pool and rest. AK is open til 8pm, MK til 9pm so we will ‘mop up’ whatever we feel the need to.

Wed 31st Aug: Spend a leisurely morning swimming, walking around CBR, taking photos etc, oh and packing! We need to get to Sanford for 12pm . Flight leaves at 15.15

This is actually the first time I've written it all out in any kind of order. We don’t want to stick to any kind of formal planning this time. That’s why we are going to decide where to eat as and when.

Other things we may try to fit in: Mini Golf, Cocoa Beach and a local flea market.

Any ideas/advice/suggestions more than welcome.

Hi
Looks great - only thing to watch out for is the red tide at Clearwater it has put us off going - you should check before you go as it is apparently not very pleasant here's the link for updates

Have a fantastic time - wish I was having a view days at a wdw resort

Follow the askdaisy.net best days guide under park updates for which park to do on which day. Arrive at the parks early, about half an hour before opening you will get so much more done.

Personally I could avoid EMH like the plague and go to the parks that don't have these. I know it is a perk for staying on site but the parks are so much more busy so you get less done.

We were goingto have an overnight stay at Clearwater and I agree that the Space Coast doesnt seem as nice - never mind at least we'll be in the right state and country - you must be so excited. I'm going to take a trip to Celebration this year :rotfl:

Have a GREAT TIME !!!!

Wow, you're going to be doing alot of driving - you'll need a holiday when you get home!

Thanks everyone for your help

wicket,

I will stay flexible enough to change our plans whilst staying onsite. If we experience crowds due to the EMH, we can do as you suggest. ;)

dalymum,

Hope you have a fantastic time too! I've read some good things about Celebration. :goodvibes

gilld,

Yes, our plan is a little...erm, full! :rotfl: DH is a professional driver by trade so the driving is ok by him. In fact, he is really looking forward to venturing outside of 'Disney-fied' Orlando!
We are expecting to take lots of rests due to the August heat and humidity so we will be laid back. (-ish!)
