Any advice about Amerihost in Kissemmee, formally Best Western Diplomat (kid suites)

We've booked two King/kid suites at the new Amerihost formally Best Western DIplomat on 192 in Kissemee. One mile from Main Gate.

We got a $69.00 night rate only 'cause the Travel agent got it wrong (should be $99) !! Her boss gave us the 69 just to do good business. Cool, huh!



ANYONE HAVE INFO GOOD OR BAD???

FYI--- it has a microwave/frig,KING, BUNK BED AND DAY BED, PLAYSTATION , free Disney shuttle, indoor/outdoo pool, whirpool, one kid eats free with parent & kids program.

I know this may not help you much, but I was at this hotel as a kid back in the late eighties when it was called Wilson World Hotel. While I'm sure much has changed since then, I remember as an 11 yr old kid thinking this was the greatest hotel in the world as the pool and hot tub, restaurants, etc are all in this huge atrium that all the rooms look down into. Plus the glass elevator that goes through the waterfall in the pool still sticks in my mind. I have no idea how the quality of this resort is today, but back then, it was the highlight of our trip! We have also booked this hotel, for Christmas this year for 3 weeks, we have had good reports about this hotel on the UK site, good location, vey clean and friendly and plenty of restaurants near by.
When will you be there, as we will be there from 15th dec to 5th Jan, and really looking forward to it.

Hi Jill,
Thanks, we would be very grateful if you would email us after you get home, as it would be interesting to hear you opinion of the hotel, good or bad, we have been to Disney twice for Halloween, and it is really great, you guys seem to celebrate Halloween a lot more than us back in the UK. Halloween Horror Night at Universal is really great if you,ve got older children, otherwise the parade in MK is very good.


PS Glad you love our country, i guess we dont appreciate what we've got, because WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR COUNTRY!.
