Any Advantage to buying DVC AP before my Thanksgiving trip?

Hi,
I know the prices just went up. Have they ever went up 2x in 1 year.

Do you think it's possible they might have some kind of special incentive before thanksgiving.

Can I buy DVC AP at park ticket window?

Any advantage to buying it now?

You must have some sort of admission ticket linked to your account to book fast passes. 60 days if you have an on-site reservation, and 30 days for off-site, but you must have valid admission linked, first.

As to prices, with the recent increase to the APs, I would think it unlikely there would be another increase before you go, although with Disney you can never say never when it comes to doing price increases for anything, and though most often it has been only once a year , there have been years when adjustments were made twice. I would probably wait until just before 60 days out to see if any special bargains occur.

Yes, they will give you a will call number that can be used immediately. If you buy them online through your DVC account, it links automatically.

Didn't they release an AP special a few years ago in the fall? I want to say around Oct, and the deal ended 12/31.

I don't remember but I will be watching closely!!
Checking in 11/25. So end of Sept I will have to purchase to book my fastpass plus.
If deal comes out after that

The special deal you are thinking of, a PAP for $399, was released in Oct 2012, for which you had to purchase by Dec 31, 2012, and activate by Dec 31, 2013.
