Any 3/20ers heard anything yet?

I submitted my contract on 3/20, in 3 days it'll be 30 days and, unless I'm mistaken, that's when we're supposed to have an answer. Has anyone else that submitted their contract on 3/20 heard anything yet? What happens if I don't hear anything in 3 days?

This is quite surprising, as some others have posted that they submitted around 3/20 and heard back 7-10 days ago. I would be shocked if you don't have an answer by Monday. I would be working the phone Monday if you don't have an early morning email from your broker.

DVC has 30 days in order to exercise ROFR. If they fail to respond within those 30 days, technically you would have passed. But it seems very rare for that to happen. Disney usually responds one way or another within a couple of weeks.

Would definitely make a phone call.

Yes, two contracts sent to ROFR on 3/20 and they passed on 4/6.

Have you checked your spam folder that is where my e-mail ended up when we passed ROFR. DVC was waiving them in 2 - 3 week time frames.

Yeah, I've been checking my spam folder, urgh, I just thought there was a delay because there were probably a lot of people submitting their contracts on 3/20.

The only thing I can think that may be causing mine to take longer is that I had to sign an addendum because the points that were supposed to be in reservation status were actually in hold status. But I signed that and sent it right back the same day I got it, so I didn't think that would really slow the process down too much. They still have to let me know something by 30 days though, right? I would have assumed my broker would have told me otherwise.

This brings up an interesting point. Does signing the addendum mean that the contract was resubmitted as a new contract for ROFR? In other words, does this addendum require the process to start over again and the 30 days maximum is applied to the new submission date?

hmmm... well, I guess I just assumed that if the addendum was going to cause a delay in the 30 days that the broker would have told me that. Especially since starting over probably would have meant losing the "extras" that I was trying to keep by getting in before the 3/21 deadline. In any case, tomorrow is 30 days and I still haven't heard anything. I sent an email to my broker yesterday, I'm pretty sure he works on Sunday's so hopefully I'll hear from him today, if not though, I will definitely call him tomorrow.

We signed an addendum last month and it did not delay the process at all! Call on Monday but I bet by Monday afternoon you will hear something! Good luck!

Mine was for Animal Kingdom.

I decided to try calling today. The lady said that they technically had until the 20th to respond (I thought it was 30 days??), but that she was going to try to contact Disney. Hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow.
