I was wondering if anyone that goes to WDW frequently could share some advice with me.....I'll be renting a Villa near to Disney for the month of February and staying onsite for about 6 days before heading back home. Besides visiting family and looking for a home while there, I do plan on getting my Disney fix, hopefully a few times a week!

How do you approach these types of 1 day trips? Do you pick one park and and hang out for the day? arrive early morning and leave when it gets too crowded? Arrive later and stay til closing? Do you ever go just for dinner and a walk?

I guess I'm just wondering what its like to be able to go whenever you want and without pressure to squeeze everything in! Thanks! You have all been so helpful!

That is a good question. I have gone with only a few days and feel like I need to everyone of my favorite attractions. I come back more tired than when I left! I would just pick your favorite park and just relax. Since you are going in February, hopefully it won't be that busy so you can walk onto the rides you want to do and enjoy the day otherwise.

Ahhh, for one day at Walt Disney World right now!

yes, to all of the above. We have annual passes and live 90 minutes away, so we're there pretty often. We don't usually have an agenda when we just pop in for a few hours. If we're there a whole day, we usually park hop. When the crowds are too scary at MK, we head over to EPCOT. MGM we don't usually spend a whole day in, so it's good for a half-day trip as well. If you want to go to AK, morning's usually best. Less crowded and the animals are often a little more lively since it's not as hot.

We spent about 4 hours at MK on Jan 2. I just let DD12 decide where she wanted to go.

Pretty much how i figured it...getting excited to be "living" around the corner for a little while at least! I also have an AP so there's really no risk with just showing up and playing it by ear..

chimera: what cuties in your sig!! YOU must be getting excited..looks like your stay is quickly approaching...have a wonderful time! :D
