Does this mean you transfer to a 0% card and when it is close to expiring you transfer your remaining balance to another 0% card? That sounds like such a stupid question. This is what I started out with too. I paid off the initial balance within a few months and called to cancel the card. They told me that if I didn't cancel they would give me the same offer, but I'd only have to make one charge per month. I bet if you called and told them you were thinking of canceling they'd make the same offer. I wasn't out to get a better deal, I was genuinely calling to cancel, but I couldn't pass up 0% when I was paying 4.75% on a pretty substantial car note.SuzyQ said:I also have the Discover card 0% for the life of the balance and there were no transfer fees.
