Anxiously Awaiting December Hours Thread! - WE'VE GOT HOURS!!!!

MK closes at 7 the days of the Christmas party. AK usually about 5, Epcot usually is open a half hour later until 9:30, and DHS probably 7 or 8.

I'm in for December 4-10th; can one book an ADR on a MVMCP night? :confused3

I went to online dining and randomly picked a MVMCP night and saw openings at MK all through early evening?

I booked Pop for those same days last night! I didn't know until about 10 pm last night that DH could get away from work then and we could go so at 10 I booked the room and by 11 I had plane tickets. I'M READY! :)

My countdown says we are at 108 days out, so when it hits 90 we're good (I think, I am a bit confused about exactly when they are going back to 180 days out!)

We are booked the 10th -16th at POP and the CM said I need to make ADRs on Sept 11! Can't wait!:santa::santa:

I have Nov 09 and Dec 08 as a guide, but I am worried about Christmas parade taping day.
I believe the Christmas Parade taping is going to be on Dec. 4 - 5.

They are going back to the 180 days out (why, oh why) October 27th.

You can book a MK ADR for a MVMCP night but I have been reading that they aren't taking ADRs on those nights past 4:30. If the party starts at 7pm you, more than likely, will not be able to have a late ADR.

Come on December hours!!!

Me and my GF will be there Nov 29 - Dec 3 and are scheduled at the POP. I have never been during the so-called off season. This will be my third trip to the parks (98 and 2007 were the two both during the respective Easter weeks) and my GF's second trip as she went with me in '07.

I'm hoping for a light crowd though I can't imagine it being any worse than I have seen Easter week at times though I found the later hours of EMH were always low crowds even then. Right now I have the 29 and 30th information I need I'm just hoping December shadows last years schedule (day wise not date wise) because that would work out pretty good. The only way it could get better is they added a EMH Night for Epcot and Future World why I'm there. Either way looking forward to the trip.

On a side note: Great Site, this placed helped me a ton in '07. The information on here allowed me to schedule a ton of stuff in advance that made my trip go smooth as any trip I have taken. Keep up the good Work!

Bumping this up---hopefully only 7 more days until the hours are available! :thumbsup2

I'm starting to get nervous, lol. I'm trying to plan the ADR's and I'm not sure that I'll have enough time between when the hours are posted and my adr date... but I'm hoping for some major pixie dust and that things will all work out :)

I went online and picked a random MVMCP night and saw availability all the way through to 8:30pm. Since I didn't book it (obviously! :lmao:), I wonder if it will ask whether you have tickets to the party? Or perhaps it changes the further into December....Hmmm..... popcorn::

Count us in. Can't wait for the hours to come up.:santa::wizard:

Subscribing so I know when the hours go up. Our trip isn't until 12/18 so I have time to plan the ADRs. :goodvibes

I hope they will take ADRs past 430- they have a party 6 of the nights we are there! I am not planning on getting tickets to the party - another what $200 for just a few hours and some hot chocolate- I am sure it is fun but I would rather just hop to another park or DTD. All these parties are really throwing a kink in my planning (how dare they....;) )

We are going Dec. 18th-24th. This 90 day ADR reservation and update on the calendar has been the pits! I am usually done with everything by now! I'm glad they are going back t0 the 180 days next year.

I will be at POP from 12/5-12/12 with DH and DD6. I have everything completely planned out based on last years calendar, so I am just waiting to confirm based on the December calendar when released. I really don't like having to wait like this (UGH). Plannin for last years trip was much easier!!! Oh well planning is 1/2 the fun. I have made a few changes here or there already based on information I am finding and feedback I am getting. And now that CP dinner package is 2 TS credits for a 1 TS dining I believe I am going to scratch that too. I was really questionig whether DD6 would enjoy it anyhow. We are going to have a late start to Epcot due to a MVMCP the night before and hopefully a late bkf in Norway, so we will see about dinner. For now I just have to wait patiently (HA HA).

I read on here that people using the on-line ADR ressie system were able to make ADRs past 4:30 but that some people that were calling to make ADRs were being told that nothing was available past 4:30 if they weren't attending the hard-ticket event. Another case of one CM saying one thing, another CM saying something else and the on-line system doing its own thing. :)

We are staying at the Poly 11/29 through 12/5 so I guess the December thread is where I really need to be as we will be there mostly in Dec! I haven't even started on ADRs yet. The hours aren't posted for Dec yet are they? My 90 day mark is 8/31 so I will have my plans my then I am sure as well as two or three back up plans :thumbsup2

If they would just release the park hours at least a half month early it would be helpful.

I used the online ADR system for our trip in October and on a MNSSHP night was able to make a 5:25pm ADR for The Plaza. I'm thinking that will be the cut-off time. It gives enough of a cushion to get people seated if there is any wait, have them eat and still exit the park at 7:00.

I'm hoping the same is true for our trip in December since we will be in the MK on a MVMCP night, but not attending the party. :santa:

I called earlier today and the Cm on the phone said they are trying some new things this yr (don't know if she ment just Dec or what) but I asked about getting an ADR on a MVMCP night for like 630 as an example and as far as she knew it would be OK - but she wasn't 100% sure it seemed so I guess we'll all keep our fingers crossed!

so it isn't just me going crazy waiting for the hours!! happy to find this thread! I am trying to book plans for 14 people and am getting soo worried not having hte hours - any tips?

Thats funny because we tried for The Plaza for 5 and were told nothing was showing after 4:30 ( not meaning available but it was looking as if no one could book)that they couldnt even pull up anything booked or otherwise. She said it was strange like they were not even open or something. She seemed puzzled and we both just chalked it up to the fact that they must not be letting people book after 4:30 on a MNSSHP night.
