Hi-- we are going to WDW in 17 days and planned our trip yesterday! I kind of went with what was available.. but I am nervous about our choices. We are there only four days (but five nights).. and using the dining plan. I never would select all character meals normally--but DS2 and DS4 love them and DS2 doesn't always do well in restaurants, so it will keep her entertained. I also am trying to eat near the parks since we don't have a rental car and it would make it easier with the kids.

Anyhow-- here they are: Any advice would be great!
Monday- AK, dinner at Chef Mickeys 5:05
Tuesday - MGM no ADRS that day
Wednesday- MK breakfast at Crystal Palace 8:05, dinner at LTT 5:00 (we wanted to CRT that day, but no luck-- no surprise!)
Thursday- EPCOT breakfast 10 am Princess Storybook, dinner Garden Grill 5 pm

I really wanted to do the 1900 Park Fare CM, but was thinking it might be easier just to do the one in Epcot. We are staying at POR and are not renting a car.

thanks in advance for your help!

It won't be much of a problem for you to get to 1900 Park Fare from POR, just takes a little time. Take the bus to MK then the boat to GF. Since you don't have any ADR's for MGM may I suggest Sci Fi to keep the kiddies entertained.

I think your choices are great! I have adr's for many character meals too because my ds can barely sit still-he will be turning 2 on our trip! I think the character meals are great to keep them entertained! We went to wdw last september and did the 1900 park fare dinner-my little one smiled throughout the meal pointing at the characters as they circled around tables. i also got nice, closeup shots with the characters! please post reviews when you come back!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

I have to tell you some of my favorites:

Hollywood and Vine (MGM)

50's Primetime (MGM)

Beaches & Cream (Yacht Club- take the boat from MGM)

Cape May (Beach Club)

I would definitely try for Sci-Fi on your MGM day. Even if you are paying OOP (which we always do - not worth using a ts credit for us) they have great burgers, and the kids just love sitting in the cars and having the drive-in movies playing.

1900 Park Fare isn't any harder to get to than Princess Storybook even without a rental car. However, if you want to see a lot of princesses stick with the Epcot one, if you want to see Cinderella and Prince Charming go for 1900 Park Fare.

Have fun!

Monday- AK, dinner at Chef Mickeys 5:05 - Great choice :thumbsup2 Your kids will have a blast. If you have time, take a monorail ride to Epcot and catch the bus to POR there. Ask to sit in the front of the monorail.
Tuesday - MGM no ADRS that day - MGM is our least favorite park when it comes to dining; although, we enjoy Prime Time Cafe. We have found the counter service to be less than stellar. On our last trip, we ate at the Backlot Express and it was pretty good
Wednesday- MK breakfast at Crystal Palace 8:05, dinner at LTT 5:00 (we wanted to CRT that day, but no luck-- no surprise!) - our favorite character meal  The early PS will give you great photo ops of Main Street and the castle. Don't miss the Breakfast Lasagna :teeth:
Thursday- EPCOT breakfast 10 am Princess Storybook, dinner Garden Grill 5 pm - this one is a favorite of DD#2; we have always had a good experience here. We haven't been to GG since the menu changed but our previous visit was a good one. The character interaction action was great!! :sunny:
