Anual pass questions?

I want to upgrade mine and DD 1 day MYW ticket to a AP, where at WDW can we do this?

we have a character breakfast at CP on our first morning at 8.05am so not sure if we can upgrade if our MYW ticket is activated to get to our breakfast? Will we need to upgrade before we enter Magic Kingdom?

Would have thought you could do it at guest services in your resort, if not then at the ticket centre when you get off the tram at Magic Kingdom, before you get on Monorail or boat, thats where we renewed AP last August.

So we will be able to upgrade at Port Orleans?

We get the resort bus to MK so won't be getting the momorail or boat.

Resorts can deal with some upgrade options, but not those involving upgrades to APs - you have to do that at Guest Relations. There is a location outside MK to the far right-hand side of the turnstiles. In any event, if you upgrade any MYW ticket within 14 days of its first use, they will apply the full cost in reduction of the AP purchase price, so it doesn't matter whether you do it before you enter the park, or once you're inside. The start date of the AP will be backdated to the first day of use of the MYW ticket (irrelevant in your case, but might be useful information for others).

I have not stayed onsite for 8 years(trying POR in August) but I am sure I read you could.

it seems like the best thing to do then would be to upgrade when we leave MK before going back to the resort.
