Another antenna topper collector here...
I saw that cute poncho one online last year sometime. When I was at DLR in August, I looked for it but couldn't find it. At the time, I figured it was just a WDW item and hadn't made it west yet. On second thought, it could have been considered seasonal and not sold in California during the dry summer months. I definitely still need to get that one!
I usually purchase two of each when I acquire new ones, as I do put them on my car. I buy a backup just in case some mean person decides they need the topper more than I do.

Of course, that 'back-up' would never go on the car since it would then be my last one of that design. I guess I've been
very fortunate, as I have not 'lost' one yet (knock on wood).
I usually swap them out about once a week, depending on how many I have for the month. There have been so many cute ones over the years for October that I have to switch them every 4 or 5 days so that I get a chance to use them all.
I've had an idea on how to display them at home for a couple of years now, but just have never gotten around to it. The idea is to get some dowels and make 'flowers' out of the antenna toppers and arrange them in a vase. Of course, they would also get switched out each month with toppers for the season with some classics thrown in. Some day I'll get around to that very simple project.
It's refreshing to see so many other dedicated topper collectors in the Disney community.
