Another wonderful trip with ecvs!!

Just wanted you to know that our trip last week was great with the ecvs. This was our second trip in two years using ecvs. We even rode the boat twice from the Magic Kingdom to Wilderness Lodge and for the first time rode the tramway (can't think of the name of it.) from Magic Kingdom to tour the Polynesian Resort, then rode the ecv's from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian and road the tramway back to Magic Kingdom. We also rode the ecv's from MGM to Epcot one afternoon and passed by the Yacht Club and the Boardwalk. It was so nice seeing the other resorts and getting out of the crowds for awhile. As I have said before we would not be able to get around Disney without the ecvs. One morning we rode the bus from the WL to one of the parks with two women who had walkers with wheels. They never even made it to the park gate before they had to sit down and they looked completely worn out. Some people don't realize how far you have to walk from the buses just to get into the park and renting the ecvs from offsite allows you to use them at your resort or getting from your car to the park gate. We had several people ask us about renting the ecvs and using them at the resort.

I too am a believer after my trip last September.

I really do thank the DIS boards for helping me realize how much help an ECV could be. I can walk and actually love to walk - it's just that I have virtually no stamina.

I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - which as my doctor has repeatedly told me means that no amount of conditioning will make my endurance better.

Three years ago I took a 2 week trip to WDW. I thought I would be able to see and do so much. What really happened was I would spend a day in the parks and then spend 2-3 days literally unable to get out of my room I was so beat. I only made it to the parks 3 days in 2 weeks.

I couldn't believe how GOOD I felt at the end of a day on an ECV plus I got to see so much more - touring around the Boardwalk area and just exploring nooks and crannies in the parks and resorts.

I have fibromyalgia and extreme fatigue as well. The ecv's make me feel well again!

I was just amazed at the difference it made. I am so used to not feeling well. It was just glorious to wake up in the morning and actually want to get going.

Good to hear a positive review. My DH loved his last year and we are looking forward to July with another ECV.
