Ok. Going in Jan and trying to decide if the ddp is worth us trying. Kids 10 &12. 10 year old picky 12 year old some what picky but will eat steaks off adult menu.

My question. If we go to a restaurant and either child wants to order off the kids menu ( chicken fingers or pizza) can I pay oop and do this? And save their credit???

My concern is that they will say my children are too old to order off the kids menu.

I have been looking at Deb' site with menus and some restaurants I think my 12 year old son will be fine but is some situations I think he will just want pizza or chicken fingers. I don't want to waste an adult credit for that type of meal when I can just pay the $7 or $8 oop and save those unused credits for another time.

So confused. Just trying to figure out if it is beneficial for us to try.

Thanks:confused3

This has worked in the past.

If it isn't allowed at a particular restaurant, you can always ask them to make an adult size portion of something from the children's menu. I had to do this when I was at Narcoossee's due to dietary restrictions and I had wonderful bowl of soup - adult sized - from the children's menu.
