Another "which resort" thread.

Planning for next fall. Me, my 20 something nephew, my sis, and her husband are planning a trip over Oct 1, 2021. Already have the Contemporary booked for the first 2 nights. We have no problem packing into 1 room for that long. But I'm trying to figure out where to go after.

We are more of a location beats space group. If you traded out my nephew for a niece, it wouldn't even be a problem. One room at the Swan. However my nephew is more of a light sleeper. And I snore. We travel together quite a bit, and after a few days, he is over it. However, my brother in law snores too and talks in his sleep. So me getting my own room and him being with his parent's doesn't help.

So I'm looking for ideas. Keep in mind we will have a car, but love being at an Epcot resort. Then we boat to DS and walk to Epcot. Should we do a dvc villa? I *think* we would need a 2 bedroom, right? So that nephew can move to the living room if he wanted a quieter space. Or 2 rooms somewhere? We could hope for connecting, and he could either move rooms, or if his dad is snoring, have me move in with his parents. Being sure we both have rooms with 2 beds. Or do we do 3 rooms? Would 3 rooms be cheaper than a dvc 2 bedroom?

Any options I'm overlooking?

My ODD is a very light sleeper and she loves these. It drowns out the sound of anybody snoring.

I think a good option would be three rooms at Caribbean Beach. You're a direct Skyliner ride from DHS (5 minutes) and Epcot (11 minutes). I would personally prefer that to the boat. Three rooms at CBR would definitely be a bit more cost effective than a two bedroom, but you lose a living room and kitchen. However three rooms might be awkward, they definitely won't all connect and you have lots of bed space (six beds for four people).

If money was not an issue, I'd take the two bedroom, but CBR is definitely the most cost effective place. If I was spending more time at the resorts, I would lean DVC because of a more natural living setup. Beach Club, Boardwalk, and Riviera will all be very convenient to Epcot and DHS.

I agree Caribbean beach is a great option for location. My favorite of course is animal kingdom but you would have to take a bus. A 1br at kidani village would give you 1 king bed a double pull out and a sleeper chair and 2 bathrooms and your kitchen

Caribbean Beach would be a good choice for location, as it is the Skyliner hub. However, you could take the Skyliner one more stop to Art of Animation and book a family suite, so you could have separate sleeping accommodations for your party. I believe Coronado Springs also has one-bedroom suites in the Casitas section which could be a cheaper option than Caribbean Beach, but then you would only have busses available for transportation. I think if I were planning a solo or adults-only trip, my top three locations would be Caribbean Beach, Dolphin and Swan, or Gran Destino Tower.
