Just when I get my plan set, I read a little farther and find something that scares me

Here is the plan.... driving to Orlando on Friday Feb 27. DD is booked for the Tea Party at GF, so we will be there by lunch time. After her party, head over to Pop Century to check in. The plan is to spend the rest of the day / evening at DTD (not DQ as she is only 5) just walking around, check out the stores, play with the legos.

Saturday is Epcot. Sunday is MGM in the morning, plan to head over to MK after the 3:00(?) parade at MGM. I figure we will be done with MGM by that time, given the height restrictions and therefore some attractions that we won't be waiting in line for. Monday we will hang out at the resort until we decide to head home.

I am planning on renting a stroller at the parks because even though she is 5 and perfectly capable of walking, she is lazy, spoiled, and a peanut princess that gets carried far too much as it is. She is perfectly happy to ride in the stroller and I am perfectly happy to push her around. I didn't want to drag my stroller along, though, since she is getting a little heavy for it and it doesn't maneuver as well anymore. Other than the trip over to GF, we plan to use Disney transportation.

This started as an overnight trip and has already become 3 nights. I am now considering adding a 4th night, maybe head down on Thursday, change the tea party to Thursday, go to MK on Friday, Epcot Sat, MGM Sunday. But since that is a pretty outside shot, is there any great flaws in my original plan? I am most worried about crowds at MK on Sunday night. Oh, Bike Week starts Fri the 27th, does that affect the Disney attendance considerably?

Well, I can tell you how crowds were last weekend (1/29-2/3):

Thursday 1/29 Epcot - crowds were fairly low, and we were able to fastpass Living with the Land and Test Track, otherwise no lines.

Friday 1/30 MK - crowds were low again, except Fantasyland. We fastpassed Peter Pan, Pooh, Philharmagic(even though we really didn't need to) and BTMRR. Everything else in the park was a 10 minute wait or less, most rides were walk ons.

Saturday 1/31 AK - again, low crowds. This may have had something to do with the relentless rain, however. We fastpassed the Safari and everything else was a walk on. DTD was pretty busy that evening though.

Sunday 2/1 MGM - a little busier at this park but nothing that a couple of fastpasses couldn't help! With FP's for Tower of Terror and RnRC, we saw nearly every single attraction in the park. The only wait was Great Movie Ride, about 15 mins. The only things we missed were the HM movie set and Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground.

Monday 2/2 Epcot - still picking up...but nothing too bad. The worst of the waits was Test Track, we waited until 8:50 and walked on. We didn't wait for anything else that day but we spent a lot of time in World Showcase.

Tuesday 2/3 MK - busier than I've ever seen a park (I'm an off-season only kind of girl). It still wasn't that bad, but I was really suprised at the crowds that day. 60 minutes mid-afternoon for the mountains. PotC was 45 mins. Was too scared to check wait times in Fantasyland in the afternoon. Somehow, however, we managed to get a spot right in front of the Confectionary for the afternoon parade, and Wendy called DD out to 'escape' from Captain Hook! So cute!

Hope this is helpful...

I personally like to go to MK early in the morning on Sunday. The crowds usually don't pick up until after 1 or so. I would maybe try MGM in the afternoon instead and switch the 2. MGM is more shows and not a lot of waiting in lines except for RNRC and TOT. Have fun planning.... If you can add another day, it is really worth it. :) I would suggest a day for each park at the least...

We have been to MK before, so I am kind of using it as a filler rather than trying to do 2 parks in one day. I figured since we have the Park Hoppers, when we finish at MGM we would still have someplace to finish out the day. I'm thinking Fantasyland, Peter Pan, Pooh, Toontown.... things like that. I'm afraid if we go to MK in the morning, I will never get her out of there!
