Another WH question, how to locate...

Okay, we are attempting to plan a family trip in March to visit our daughter while she is doing an internship at Disney. How do you go about finding a house/townhouse or whatever at WH? I put in an inquiry on their site, but haven't gotten much in the way of responses.

I think you google windsor hills rent and then contact the individual owners directly. The owners then give you quotes and you deal directly with them.

We stayed there last year and are returning to the same house again this spring. March may be a bit of a challenge to book for as I think most places are full. Good Luck. PM me if you want more info.

Depending on your dates in March, you may find that it is difficult to find a villa or condo which has availability. Easter is the next week after the Ontario March Break and places filled up quickly. I know I booked our 5 bedroom house in March 2007 for March 2008. My advice would be to also try vrbo.com and windsorhillsforrent.com and book soon if you really want to go in March. Good Luck on your search!

There are several sites you can use. This is the vrbo.com site with the Windsor Hills listings, you have to contact the owners individually:

There is the homeaway.com site where you can put in your dates and other info and they will bring up what's available and then you contact the owners:

Also if you go to this part of the site and look across the top of the page it will show you all of the sites that are part the Homeaway Company. This also shows the new guarantee they have available: http://guarantee.homeaway.com/

Some of the sites you can put in a general enquiry and some like vrbo you have to contact each one separately. It does take some time to find what you're looking for and for the price you want. March is in the high season and gets book fairly quickly so I wouldn't wait too long to book.

I didn't get a good response when I requested quotes from the WH site either.

Just returned from a TH at WH. This is still available from 22/3 but not sure of your dates. It's on VRBO. Let me know if any good for you.
