Another wedding invitation question

Has anyone ordered cardstock suitable for wedding invitations and from whom?

we ordered samples from cardsandpockets.com

we ended up not going with them because we found a local place that sold another brand.

but cardsandpockets is definitely budget friendly

Do you live near an Archiver's? They have a whole section in their store for invites.

I bought the most beautiful cards from Target for our wedding invites! They had embossed scroll work on them and the box came with invites and envelopes and matching response cards and envelopes. It was such a bargain and they were beautiful. We had a NC beach wedding so we were not as formal as you may be looking for but they were beautiful nevertheless.

I bought our card stock from Cardsandpockets as well. THey turned out fabulous!

We bought ours at AC Moore and I made the pockets. With coupons and their constant "Madness" sales the total price for the cardstock for 150 invites was less than $20! That includes one color for pockets and 2 different colors for the inside inserts and actual "you are invited" portion.

Just another tip. We bought our envelopes at mygatsby.com in their clearance section, also right around $20. They don't have a huge selection of colors, but we ended up with gold and it offset our colors nicely.

I looked at some styles from mygatsby.com. These are actually for a friend of mine who doesn't use the computer as much as I do. But they're big bargain hunters!
