normally i go to WDW in november, its warm, good weather, out of hurricane season etc....
going to try and go back this year to make use of our annual passes before they run out (its a good excuse for another holiday).
was originally thinking of going in may. either that or september/october, but now toying with the idea of going at the end of august (28/29th) for a couple of weeks as its my birthday (also might be tempted if free dining comes out on the US site). i have been once at the beginning of july and it was too hot and humid for my liking.

who's been in either may/august/september? what are your thoughts on the weather/humidity etc... would i hate any of these months as i normally go in november?

thanks in advance

Went in August, was ok, very hot and humid and had quite a bit of rain (though not as much as in June) heard May has a nice climate though :goodvibes

Hi

i have been in May for a week in 92 it was lovely no rain
later we always went in september *** flights were cheap and good time for DVC points, i loved it then the weather was humid, i also felt like i had a blanket wrapped around me it did rain but cleared up quickly, hurricanes always forecast but always veared off at last minute
we did try October for halloween but there is a week around then where the weather changes and i found it very nippy until 10 am so not keen on that time
we went in 2005 last two weeks of August, i found it too hot, DD2 sunscreen melted of her forehead into her eyes(??) very uncomfortable

We always go in August so I've only ever known the hot and humid weather. I find it bearable but I'm generally terrible in cold weather (like the stuff we have over here now :() so I'm not too good a judge. But if you didn't like it in July, you certainly won't in August!

Last year Sept was the hottest one we had had,the first week was scorching but I have to say that although it has been warm in the past last year was unusual. What can I tell you about Sept? Out of 8 Sept trips,6 have been mainly dry with the odd day of cloud or rain,1 we had a Hurricane & 2 tropical storms & the other was a complete washout-rained (proper cats & dogs) 10 out of 14! The recent trips have been the good ones though but who can predict the weather?

If weather were the only consideration I would go in May. We've been in August and it was hot, humid, rained a lot and we had the tail end of a hurricane, but the crowds were low and we got free dining so it was a decent trade off.

we went in may in 2006 and the weather is beautiful, 14 days of sun and not humid at all!! crowds is very low and we walked on most rides straight away, at the most waiting times were 10 mins, we did plan well so that when we got in parks we knew where we wanted to go, and we are goin back on may 10th this year! cant wait

Another vote for May - have been August,September and May.
The latter wins hands down, just far too hot for me (and my son) in the summer.
