We stayed at WBC June 3-9. We previously stayed at BLT last December so I was worried about not being in a Disney resort. Upon check in my worries disappeared.

Check in was a breeze and I told the parking pass guy that our schedule was full and we would not be able to attend the sales presentation. I had to tell him more than once but he was not too pushy.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe in Tower 1 floor 4. The room was clean and very spacious and well stocked with supplies. Two minor complaints were that the master bed squeaked with every movement and the walls were thin. Our neighbors were not loud but we could hear muffled talking and a baby crying.

We requested a pack n play and a high chair and both were brought to the room quickly.

The pool and lazy river by tower 1 were nice. We did not use any of the other pools.

Parking was never a problem. We also never had to wait for an elevator.

We are now back at Disney for a convention and are staying in the Contemporary tower. In comparison to WBC we are disappointed. When we return to Disney we will be staying offsite from now on. WBC made a believer out of me!

Us too! Were there for the first time May 10th-20th and can't see ever staying onsite again.

Great! What view did you have? What was your room number? I am considering requesting Tower 1, we want a lazy river and that's it. We don't need any other pool stuff.

How was parking? Did you have any issues parking near the building?

Thanks,

Layout of the resort:
The resort consists of 6 timeshare buildings/towers and a Wyndham Grand hotel. Puerta de Leon, the main building/clubhouse and Building 1 were built in 2004. Building 6 is the newest building completed in 2010. The Pirate Pool in front of Building 5 is actually a fort themed pool with a lazy river. The pool in front of Building 6 has a pirate ship pool and slide.

I lifted this off of page one of the We Love Bonnet Creek #3 discussion. You will find a wealth of information about the property on page one.

From our balcony we saw the parking lot. If we looked to the extreme far right we could just barely see fireworks from, I'm assuming, Illuminations. Other than that all we could see was a parking lot.

Thanks,

Sharadoc, we had a parking lot view. We never had any trouble parking. I think our room number was 419.

Just a warning if you have a handicap tag. They do not have enough handicapped parking. We were there for ten nights this past May, have a handicap parking tag, but was not able to park in the handicapped spots very often. People without handicapped tags were parking in them.:sad2::mad: Most evenings we had to park in the garage. We were in building 4.

If you complain the resort will deal with this. We had this problem (my mother has a tag and she was with us), and we could never get a spot. After complaining they did "police" the spots and took care of the problem.

I do have a handicapped tag, but if necessary, my DH will have to drop me off and then go park. It's a shame they don't have enough spots, but it's also a result of our aging population not just people abusing it. Years ago, maybe one or two handicap spots were taken. Now they are usually full. At DHS, if you don't get there early, you might not even get a spot in the handicap lot. We've learned that it's just as good to show your tag to park at the end in the regular lot and hop on the tram.
