I also just uploaded something that I thought was 2.00 and was paid 5.00. It was in their data base, though. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or not. I think I may try one more 2.00 and see what happens.

I am doing Turbo Tax and I put it under "income" I didn't see anywhere to put it under income from a hobby, where is that?? Overall it reduced our refund by 300, we made around 2500+ with Expo so I didn't think that was bad at all.

On Turbo Tax it is under Other Income I think. It is the last category on the bottom of the income page. It's listed with income from Jury Duty, Gambling Winnings, and things like that. It is called Income Earned From a Hobby.

I went ahead and filed this way since it is Feb. 2nd and I still don't have the 1099 from Expo.

I uploaded all 50 of my Feb. videos. 45 have been approved and all were paid $5, and the other 5 are still pending. . .

I can't find anywhere that lists what the categories are being paid this month, only that the cap is 50. I find it hard to believe that they went back to paying $5 for everything. . .

I had uploaded 2 and they were paid at $5 each too! I just hope they don't re-review and change the payouts - they've done that in the past (and not just when we emailed and asked)

I just had the $5 thing work against me. I posted 3 videos that should have been paid @ 10 each, but paid $5 each instead. I have emailed expo to see what the deal is!

If it is truly $5 each video this month I sure do wish they would have posted that somewhere since I just posted 3 assuming I would have $30. Oh well.

since my id is not the same as my disboards id not sure If I can post it

now I have to admit I have never done anything like this so this should be interesting need names so I can see how everyone one else is doing their vidoes.....simple is going to be the game until I feel better about doing it or more on how/what to say about what I am reviewing, I do not like talking in public and this is about the same but I will get over it

oh did I mention I have not really used my video camera so I have a learning curve too

now the question is do they want bad reviews too.....

I have seen people introduce the product then let their husband do the review, but I never have. I'm afraid it would get rejected so I just do them myself.

I had never used my video camera before this. I use my digital camera and had to learn the software, but it was easy.

Yes - my son wanted to do a review so I let him. He just turned 7, I'm not in the video and they accepted it, but this was back in October.

I just noticed on the Expo forum that the $5 thing is a bug that they plan to fix. I guess anyone who got over or under paid will get the correct amount. Glad I didn't rush around trying to do all my $2 reviews, to get the $5. I can just take my time and hope for the bonuses.

Darn, here I thought expo was going back to it's simple ways of last July with the $5 payout for everything. I was really looking forward to that. Too bad. What a bummer.

I already filed with out it but I have the dang thing so I have all my documentation if I need it. (E-filed for $10 on taxslayer.com if you need a cheap easy to use program.)

Good to know! For possible free filing go to irs.gov then select the button that says "use free file to prepare your taxes". I used this for my father this year and it didn't cost me a penny to file his taxes.

I'm confused though, i submitted one on the 1st, and it is still pending. I was going to wait on it, just to see if I did it right, but got anxious today, so I did a few, which got approved (and paid )before I'd even clicked back to my profile. But the one from the first is still pending.
Do different catregories take longer?

I'm having the same problem. Many times, there is an issue with the video that they need to have someone else review (is the lighting ok, audio synched, product nationally available?) But I figure that one video isn't going to make or break me, so I'm just chugging away at the rest of my reviews.

BTW - Anyone else know if the bonuses are based on the amount of views or the amount other people vote on your reviews?

Looks like the bug problem is fixed. My videos paid correctly.

I'm not sure how the bonuses paid in December. The ones they picked of mine seemed kind of random. They weren't even the ones with the highest number of views.

I just hope I get some chosen again. That was a nice little bonus!
