Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

This is from their FAQs section:
"How can I embed videos in my blog, social networking site or other web page?
Every video on ExpoTV includes code that you can copy and paste into your blog or any social networking site. On every video detail page, look beneath the video to find its URL and Embed code. The URL allows you to link to the ExpoTV page with your video on it. The Embed code allows you to place the video player anywhere that allows HTML code, including blogs, forums and other social networking sites."

Mmmmm, another defect I guess.:confused3 I thought that's what that was for but when I tried to copy and paste, it didn't work for me. 'Course, there's been a lot of gliches in their system lately guess that's just another. Thanks!:goodvibes

Hmmm...I would've thought Something would've worked but I guess they have bugs in every part of their site! :confused3 Maybe they will get that fixed soon too!

While I'm not terribly happy about thr tighter restrictions on the videos, I am happy that some things I had put off reviewing have been moving into higher payouts.

Didn't get to the webcam -$5
Higher pay for vaccuum +$8

All in all, I think it will even itself our in the end. I went to a sneek peek movie last night and looked at the payout to see if I needed to rush a review. I'm glad I waited because I get an extra $3 for it. I have half of the oversized pass we were given, with the movie art on it, so it counts!! If it doesn't, I'll throw a fit, that's my stub and the reason they do the free screening is so people will recommend it to their friends.

Now that I know what the payouts are, I need to make my list early and get started. I don't ahve as much time as I did in Aug. I figured out that I could work for 2-4 hrs a week and get all the vids done. That's an average of $20 an hour if I get $250 for the month. It's more than I make at work....... so it's worth it, esp since it's strictly for making our Disney trip more enjoyable.

well, me and dgf both got our 100 uploaded for this month!!   im pretty excited, and really not all that disappointed in the september promotion...it was better than what i was fearing!! and in all honesty, since we are going to disney on the 21st, the 50 video cap wont be an issue for us. sorry to hear some of you are disappointed! im just glad i ever came across expotv!! Between the 2 of us, once everything gets accepted for this month, since July 25th (when we first discovered the site) we will have made over $2500!!!! I'm loving it!! thanks again to everybody for showing it to me, explaining it to me, etc...!! now that i have done my videos for the month, time to get back into the swing of things and watching everybody elses!! i LOVE watching these..they are almost as addictive as doing them!!

We got all 100 in on DH. They actually just rejected one because it cut off at the end. But yeah, it was baby food item that they would moved to $2 so I replaced it with a $10 item :cool1: .

I won't make it 100, but I did get 91 in. I had others I could have uploaded such as baby and kids and crafts that I had recorded but couldn't get in time when they changed the payouts. I decided to hold out on those in case they up the price. My craft items are cricut items, they are not cheap anywhere from $60-$200 each. Those should be in a higher catergory.

Anyway, I'm actually kinda relieved that the max is 50, that way I won't be so stressed and obligated to get out 200 videos. DH records his, but I edit them, upload them and everything else. Don't get me wrong, I'll probably be ready to get back to 100, but this will be a nice break.

Pet product (except for food) reviews must feature the submitter using the accessory product with their pet during the review.

Boy, am I glad I reviewed the cat litter before the rule changes!

Just an FYI...
ExpoTv is acting up again. I just tried to log on for DH and I and it said that the passwords were wrong and know they were right. Finally I got in and then it showed me having on 2 approved videos instead of the 68 I have:scared1: . Anyway, I logged off and then it worked. Just kinda freaked me out since this is my first month!

My final videos for August were approved yesterday! :cool1: I only made $154 this month but hey, it's $154 I wouldn't have otherwise. I don't mind the 50 cap since that's the number of videos I was able to make for August anyway. Too bad they are starting to get so picky. I'm going to start my September videos this weekend so I have plenty of time for re-dos.

You're right, but my washer and dryer are both $10........

Well I went to upload my large kitchen appliances today and guess what..they have teh stove categorized in electronics and the fridge and freezer in housewares. Now its my understanding from the new september rules that if I dont choose one of those because its in their database they can reject my video or re-categorize it? Is this right? I think we have one tough month ahead of us. I do believe I will contact them before I bother to upload.

Their database is a mess. So many odd things show up where they shouldn't. I think this whole month is going to be an absolute mess.

I second that. I just posted on their forums asking about the large appliances. How they can even begin to categorize this stuff in electronics amazes me.

My side by side refrigerator by Whirlpool is also in electronics, I just emailed them, HOW FRUSTRATING!

Neither my washer OR dryer are even in their database...

Maytag washer and a GE Performa Gas Dryer.... Do I take the chance and submit them anyways by adding my info or just pass as they say if its not in their database they can give us on $2.... I just don't know what to do now????

If you can find your exact washer and dryer (maker sure you can give them a make or model number) on the internet, submit the videos and send Expo an e-mail with the website that you saw them for sale on.

Oh boy. Has anyone uploaded videos to the wrong acct? I just did that. I was logged into my acct and uploaded 2 of DH videos. I contacted them and told them but will they just reject them? I cant believe I did that. Not 2 seconds before I started uploading I said to myself to make sure I log into his acct then my daughter came out and asked me to please make her brother stop using her bathroom because he doesnt lift the seat and I totally got distracted. Oiiy. :headache:

I am so excited! I am up to $106 of earnings for August with 40+ videos still pending! Woohoo! :cool1:

One thing is they put my oscillating fan in "large appliances". Guess I will review the other fan we have this month!

Question: I have 2 different brands of refrigerators can I review those as 2 seperate videos?
