Another waitlist question

I see that the one thing on a waitlist that I can change myself is the 31 vs 7 day expiry for the waitlist. Does anyone know whether making that change online would result in jumping to the end of the waitlist queue?

AFAIK, that does not change your position in line. You have to do a cancel and redo to go to the end.

31 to 7 and 7 to 31 is just a modification, not a cancel and redo.
