Another Verizon ? - basic phone

We're switching to Verizon - I need to pick a basic phone. Any that you would recommend (or NOT recommend?).

I have the LG Cosmos 2. I just wanted a simple phone for calling, some texting, and would hook up to the bluetooth in my car. So far I have had no complaints. the battery seems to hold up for a long time too, which is good.

Everyone in my house but me, has the Samsung Intensity II, no one has ever complained about them.

My dd has has the LG octane and we've not had any problems with it. It think her only complaint is that the ringer is very quiet, which is strange because she always has it on vibrate so that I won't know how much she texts!

Before that, she had the Samsung Intensity, which my niece is currently using because her Droid got turned off. It still works great and my dd carried it for 2 years.
