Another use year question please

Hi all. I will be closing soon on a contract with a February use year. I know there are some banked points that must be used. When would these need to be used by? Is it January 31 2024.

Assuming you mean Feb 2022 points that were banked into the Feb 2023 use year, then yes, they must be used by Jan 31, 2024.

This is probably obvious, but "used by" 1/31/24 means you need to complete a stay by that date.

Some people confuse use year with booking dates, but it's about when you use the points for a stay.

To be more specific, it means that 1/31/24 is the last night you can book with those points.

Thank you so I have to have completed my stay by that date, not book by that date correct? So I can’t book a stay that would extend into 02/01/2024?

Correct. The last night to “use” the points with a Feb UY is January 31st.

You can check out on Feb. 1, but you can't use those points to stay the night of Feb. 1.
