Megan, take care sweetie!!![]()
I wanted to share with you guys that my Sister who lives in Oregon, just called me this morning and told me that she has cervical and uteran cancer. So I am quite bummed.
Dave and I, along with my Mom, will be leaving next week to go and be with her during her surgery. We will be gone from Tuesday to Sunday. My Mom will stay behind longer to be with her.
Thanks for listening!
Melody
I'm so sorry for your sister. It just breaks my heart everytime I hear of someone getting cancer. Let her know that she CAN beat cancer...it's not always easy, but I'm living proof that it can be done. Tell her not to let the statistics and the doctors get her down. She is not a statistic and having a good attitude and a sense of humor will help her get thru her treatment. It is very good that you are going to be with her. But one bit of advice...try to treat her normal. When I was first diagnosed everyone didn't really know what to say or do, and even during treatment it was hard. But what I wanted most of all was for everyone to just treat me normal, for my life to be normal. Make sure to keep her busy, keep her laughing and don't treat her like she's an invalid. If she says she wants to do something then let her do it. Even doing simple household chores will help her feel normal.
She's going to have good and bad days, right now her brain is probably going non-stop just thinking about cancer and letting it sink in. Just be there for her, listen if she wants to talk, try to keep her busy, but most of all just love her.

Guess unemployment does pay well. Actually it was due to DH getting severance pay when his company closed. However, I found it quite amusing since he was so worried that our income was going down.
But the numbers are showing more.
You should stay up and celebrate.
Then she yells out the door.. I need a dopplar in here..NOW! So Dh and I are panicking.. MASSIVELY. Whats wrong??? Baby A seemed to have a really slow heartbeat. I start bawling, and Frelan is in a straight panic. Then she adjusted the little scanny thingy, and all was well. She just didnt have the best view on him.
Seriously.. All of us were freaking out. She dopplared both babies, and they were perfect.. Thank GOD.
She was like.. Only 2 more weeks! I gave her the WORST look... A week and a HALF. NOT two weeks.
OMG Megan - I am glad everything is ok
Since DH is no longer a supervisor I can't depreciate his vehicle any longer - and since I did depreciate it I can't deduct the standard mileage for all his travels that he makes outside of his store
