You know, that's one thing I never really got. DH loves those sick, gory, scary movies, war movies with body parts flying, blood gushing, etc. But he gets squeamish about childbirth? What is that? :lmao:

Yeah... I dont know. Frelan loves zombie movies... and all sorts of freaky gory crap too. But I guess watching his daughter come out of my body made him a little light headed. And THEN came the placenta! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He was impressed he was still standing. :lmao: :lmao:

Im not into blood and gore, and I gotta say... Watching a full on birth kinda freaks me out too. Its just kinda like.. :scared: My body should NOT do that!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Did you watch it? It's just playing pretty classical music, until the very end.

At the end the classical music is interrupted and it's like somebody slammed their hands on all the lower keys on the piano, and had their foot on the pedal that extends the notes. :lmao:

What? The news says they're talking snow in the lowlands this week??? Say it ain't so!

Okay.. time for me to hit the hay!! Dh is bugging me to go to bed..

Gee, it's 11:20 already? UFF. I should get to bed. I had trouble sleeping last night, I kept waking up a lot.

I asked DH what time we are supposed to get DS8 in the morning. He said he suggested 9:00, and his friend's mom said, "I don't even want to hear the phone ring before 9:30." :lmao:

I suppose that means DS will be staying up late tonight, I think she pretty much lets her kids stay up as late as they want. I hope DS is doing OK, this is the family with the little boy DS4's age who is pretty wild.

Good night! I hope you sleep well. You need to be as rested as possible, baby girl! :thumbsup2

Oh, good morning guys. Of course no one is on right now. I'm up. My dog is driving me crazy this morning. In and out of the house. Barking like mad. UGH. I dont want to go back to sleep but I want to stay under the covers for a little bit!

Good Morning Ladies & Gents! :goodvibes

I took my little sister and our 2 visitors to DCA yesterday. I can't even begin to mention how scared I was driving on the 5fwy in the pouring rain! I drove slow and made it to the parking structure. :faint: We got to the park rather quickly. There was no traffic at all, which was good.

We got on the tram and I was surprised to see that despite the rain, there was still a bit of a crowd (not too crowded) headed to the parks. A lot of people were wearing ponchos. I had a hoodie on and my umbrella.

The first ride we went on was Toy Story Mania. It was the first time I only had to wait 5 minutes to get on that ride. I was so thrilled and happy! :rotfl2: Our visitors loved it and thought it was so cool! :cheer2: Then we rode on CA Screamin. It was fun but it started to rain a bit hard. Imagine going 45 mph and having the rain hit you in the face. It hurt so bad and felt as if little knives were stabbing my cheeks. :crazy2: :scared:  The visitors said their cheeks hurt too and then my little sister says: "I like rain!" :teeth: and that's when I told her she was nuts! :sad2: :rotfl:

We rode Maliboomer, Soarin over CA, they rode TOT while I waited for them. We went to TOT and the wait was 60 minutes so we decided to ride Monter's Inc and see Muppets 3D. By the time we finished both, the wait for TOT dropped to 13 minutes, which was really cool. They loved TOT and said it was fun. :thumbsup2 I got to take a pic with Frozone and Goofy. :yay:

I took them to It's Tough to Be A Bug and they were startled by it. :lmao: They hated the black widows dropping from the ceiling and I told them that part scared me the most! :faint:

When we rode Monster's Inc, Roz said: "Hello girls! Could you do me a favor and scream for me?" so I went: "AHHHHH!!!" and she said: "Thank you! That was a nice scream!" :rotfl:

Did you know that they got rid of the abominable snowman from that ride? I loved him opening the door and saying: "Snowcone?" and the smell of lemon. Now it's the door next to that won that shows some monster getting hurt while trying to scare :(

*Some things I discovered: Now Disney has 2 drink sizes for their soda. It's the regular size and they have a large size now. Just thought I'd share. :rotfl:

I have a ton of pics of things I want to show you guys. They got ride of the year of a million dream and now their promo is called "Celebrate Today." They changed the flower bed at the DL entrance to a Mickey Head and some balloons off to the sides. I didn't get to take a pic of it but it's really cute.

I'll try to upload some pics for you guys to see later. Hope everyone has a good day. pixiedust:

Good... dang it, it's afternoon already! :rotfl:

We picked up DS8 from his friend's house. He had a good time, his friend had a good time, friend's little brother seemed to have a good time, too... and even flashed us as we stood chatting with his mother. Oh my! :scared1:

DS8 asked me (in front of his friend) if the friend could come over today. I said 'not today' and he started getting whiney. And the friend got all pouty, too, so obviously they'd already discussed it. GEEZ, I hate that! So we had a little chat when we got home:

Me: You know, we let you go to your friend's house to play yesterday. Then we let you stay for dinner when you asked. Then we let you spend the night, and brought over clean clothes and your toothbrush for you. Then we come pick you up, and you start giving attitude? Do you think that makes us inclined to let you do that again?

DS: But I just wanted him to come and play.

Me: No, listen. We let you go to have fun, then you give us attitude when we pick you up. Do you think we want to let you go again then?

DS, pouting: No.

Me: Son, you just spent all day and all night with this friend. Besides that, you know the rules! There are toys all over every room in this house. You can't have friends over unless you pick up your toys. That's all I ever ask of you, and you don't do it unless I make you, right? So don't even ask me when you know your toys are everywhere!

DS: They're not in your room...

DH stepped in: I know of several of your toys that are in our bedroom, so don't even go there. There also are a bunch on the floor of my office.

Me: And don't ever ask me if a friend can come over in front of the friend! That's rude and can be hurtful to your friend if I say no, and it's not fair to me. You clean up your toys first, then you ask Mama and Daddy if you can have a friend over. If we say OK, then you invite the friend over, not before. If you ask me again in front of your friend, it's going to be an automatic NO even if the house is clean. Got it?

DS, still pouting but a little guilty: Yes.

Oy. Kids, I tell ya... :sad2:

The friend is a nice but whiney kid who has a very permissive mother, so he doesn't often hear the word 'no'. I'm fine with DS playing with him, but I do notice behavioral changes when he spends a LOT of time there, so I limit the time somewhat.

My house is hardly ever tidy and I'm very self-conscious about that, but less so if at least the toys and dirty clothes the kids leave all over the house are picked up, that's most of the battle! I'm fine with having someone come over and play IF the boys do their part first. At least pick up the toys in the common areas and the boy's bedroom. But that hardly ever happens...

DS got in trouble at the beginning of the school year when he told this friend that he had his room clean but still wasn't allowed to have friends over. The friend actually confronted me about it after school!

He told me it wasn't fair and that he should be allowed to come over. So I stopped walking and point-blank asked DS if that was true that his room was clean. He hung his head and had to admit that it wasn't. I was annoyed and amused at the same time that my son had lied to his friend to save face, but threw me under the bus doing it! He probably won't be doing that again... :rotfl:

We went to my Grandmas house today.. She had a little box of things she bought for the babies and wanted us to come over and get them. So we did. Onsies, receiving blankets, LOTS of bibs... wipes and diapers. She wanted to get me some preemie diapers just in case we need them. They only fit up to a 6 pound baby, so I dont think we will. But we have them just in case! I think I have enough wipes to last at least the first 6 months.. Enough diapers to last the first week. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:headache: So I just got done washing BBQ sauce out of my HAIR. but Megan! You ask.. Why on earth would you have BBQ sauce in your hair?? Because Im stupid. THATS why. I was shaking up a bottle of sauce, and the lid wasnt on tight enough. Whos fault?? Probably mine. Unless dh used it and didnt tell me. Anyhow.. Mikalah thinks I smell good. :lmao: :lmao:

OOPS! :rotfl:

I've done that with parmesean cheese before.. it had clumps so I did my usual shake and tap to declumpify. Only to find that the last person who used it (hubby) didn't turn the lid to the closed position. It looked like I had dandruff, the size of parmesean cheese, in my hair. Kinda stinky too. :headache:

Another not so pleasant food wearing experience involving my husband..
First time he got a can of Starbucks double shot iced espresso , he shook it.. shook it.. shook it. Said "here honey, why don't you try it" .

Opens the can (aimed at me) SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsss

The contents erupted and sprayed me down like some beer floozie at a wet T shirt contest.

I was not amused.

I remind him of this incident every time he buys a can of Starbucks now.
No honey YOU open it first.. and I walk far far away.

:rotfl:

My bluetooth fell out of my purse yesterday :( I didn't even notice it was missing until I was headed home from DCA yesterday. My bf and I went to Fry's Electronics where I got a new one. They had it on sale for $30 (a pink Motorola one). We ate lunch at El Torito. I had the crunchy taco trio with steak. The food was really good and my meal was less than $10 :thumbsup2

We stopped by a mall and I got a track jacket from Macy's (American Rag brand). I donated $2 and got 20% off. Then we headed to Target where I needed to buy more Dentyne gum and some shampoo and conditioner. I love the new Herbal Essence Hydralicious line. They smell great and they work great. :lovestruc

I stopped by the pharmacy on my way home to pick up my allergy meds but they were already closed :headache: I didn't think they would be closed before 6:30pm. Oh well, I will try again tomorrow.

Our visitors left this morning. My parents asked last night if I would stop by their house to say goodbye but I told them I would most likely be asleep. :cloud9: I think I woke up around 11am. I was so zonked and sleepy. :faint:

Oooh....two of my purses sold on ebay and I'm really happy. :yay: :yay: The buyers that won got a good deal. I still have one left that is still going and I hope it sells well. *crosses fingers*
