I'm going to Disneyland!

That got all goofed up, and I don't know how to fix it. I tried.

Well... Im back from the doctor. On a positive note.. they didnt kill me, but I am pretty sure they tried. there has to be some sort of law against starving a big ole fat pregnant lady, and then sticking her full of needles. I have never had so many problems with people trying to find my veins. 4 blood draws, and about 30 needle sticks later. Oh... AND I have been up since 2am. I feel like poop. Angry poop.

Yikes!! That does not make for a nice day does it??
I hope they eventually found and did what they wanted!!

Oh... and this will make you laugh. I just tried to burn my house down with peanut butter.

I really hate to do this but I think I'm going to have to back out of the Segway Tour. It's just a bit expensive

Dave is interested in doing the tour with me sometime when we go, so I decided to wait too.

I turned the wrong burner on when I was trying to boil some water last night. Unfortunately... I turned on the burner that the peanut butter jar was on. THAT, my friends... is a BAD smell. But all is well... We had another jar in the cabinet. CRISIS AVERTED!!

Hi Melody,

I just PM'd Stacie about the Segway Tour. I'm not sure what else I will be signing up for but I'd like to join some of the events planned. Do you know what activities or meals you will be joining?

Tomorrow I have 2 family friends visiting from out of the country. I plan to take them to DL and DCA some time during their stay. I'm not sure where else they would like to go but we might go to other amusement parks as well.

I hope I will get a chance to hang out with you on the ladies trip.

Got my test results back today.. I am good to go! No GD for me!!! We are all wicked excited here.. Especially my husband. He is the nervous sort you know.

I wonder what people think when they see hubby's arm? Big time junkie, no closet necessary?

He has some bulging areas on his acess sites. When he used sharps and rotated sites he had a road map of scabs and infiltrates (bruising) from bad sticks. Too bad they didn't use buttonholes until recently (blunt needles same spot, same angle.. the skin heals around the site .. similar to a piercing) .

oh yeah.. wanted to add.. I know what you mean. I bruise with every blood draw and they always manage to infiltrate the site (nicking the vein, allowing blood to seep under the surface) since they have to dig to find my teeny veins.

Cold packs might help the bruising resolve a little faster.

I was totally thinking about him yesterday while they were digging for blood.. I couldnt handle it. I am generally good with needles adn draws, even IVs.. I dont know what was up yesterday! Everytime they tried to ram one of those needles in where i was bruised... YEEEEEOOOOUUUUCCCCCCHHHHH!!! I was cussing like a sailor!

Trying to decide on a hotel, want cheap.. but not flea bite cheap.

I have a few possibilities, just thinking.. do I want to be near the action (and pay a bit more) or explore a new hotel that is further away (needing shuttle).

Entertainment rate was only for two of the 4 nights. Not paying over $100 when I know I can get a 3 star for less (although further away). If I had everyone with me, then yes I would chose one of the walkable distance ones.. but by myself.. meh.. it doesn't matter as I will not be running back to the hotel mid day.

The IRS website is showing that our refund should be deposited tomorrow.. I thought they only did it on Fridays. I am feeling mucho confused right now. Not surprising though.. I have been in a fog for quite a while now.

Expedia is showing some deals at decent looking places for $50 a night or so.. They look like they might be in walking distance.

yeppers, plus I have a $50 of code and they offer a $50 gift card mailed after the stay.

I looked at Super 8 on Disneyland Drive, but I'm perplexed as to how you I am to walk from there to the Mickey and Friends trams. I looked at a google map and couldn't figure it out.. unless you walk thru a parking lot??

Also looking at Comfort Inn Maingate, near the convention center (I've walked it before or use ART).

Or stay further out at the Aryes Inn (either one, both look gorgeous!), but need to rely on their scheduled shuttle. (hmph.. don't like that).

Desert Inn and Suites is a tad more, lower cost on their own website .. no coupon deal.
