I am disappointed because I love Harry Potter.

true, but ya have to be offensive to go there!!
hehehehehehe
Eeeeesh! A Long Island iced tea was the first alcoholic drink I ever tried, upon my cousin's recommendation. We were 19, and it was legal to drink in MN at 19 then (not sure if it still is.) The bar had a happy hour two-for-one special, and instead of each of us getting one drink, my cousin insisted we both get two, so we did.Thats fine, there is no need to drink for the sake of drinking!
they do have "ladies" drinks! DW likes the long island ice tea, once in a while.
I have never had one, but a grasshopper is supposed to be kind of a light type of drink.
of course...the ol' RUM is the sailors favorite!!!
hehehehehe
Offensive? I thought you just had to be offended. Which is why I haven't posted there.true, but ya have to be offensive to go there!!

I took one sip, gagged, and told her, "I don't think there's any tea at all in here!"![]()
She laughed so hard she about fell off her barstool.![]()
So she drank all four, and I switched to Lime Vodka sours. Yum! Fruity drinks are for me!![]()
DId you ever have a "spodie"?? (I'm not sure how it's spelled, it's a college thing.) It's just like that, lots of different kinds of alcohol thrown together... only without all the fruit, just alcohol!I never had a long island iced tea. I did have a kahlua mudslide at TGIF once and it made me sick.![]()

I like vodka, because you can't really taste it!![]()
Ooo, and margaritas. I guess that's tequila. Vodka is daquiris. Those are yummy, too.![]()
Every time we go to DL I want to hit Rita's Baja Blenders and get a big fat margarita, it sounds soooo good! But we're always with the kids and it just doesn't seem like a good idea in the middle of the day with them; and in the evenings (post dinner) I guess I'm not in a drinking mood (again with the kids), so I never have.
Maybe if I ever take a solo trip... But I am a lightweight as alcoholic drinks are concerned. When I go out with the girls, we all just get one drink. (They must all be lightweights, too!)![]()
Is that from your college days?Hmm, they used to call that a "suicide"
Is that from your college days?
The article says "spodi" is a Northwest term for it.
Do you mean he won't be making appearances as a live character? I don't know why they would do that, since he's so popular.I read that they are getting rid of Jack Sparrow at DLThat sucks! I got to take a pic with him at MHT and he acted just like Captain Jack. It wasn't the ones seen in the photos that most DIS members have posted.
Still, he's so popular and I don't think they should send him to Davy Jones's locker!
