no, college came after my "fun" times..heheheheheh

I think that is a more party type of drink, and I havn't heard the term until about four or five years ago. I think that Wiki might be a little in error.

the first drink on ships to prevent skurrvy was grog, the traditional mix.

it WAS rum, with any kind of fruit juice available, and water.

and also they had one called bumboo, it had spice in it (to kill the taste!)

I tried some authentic grog during my navy days, during a "birthday" celebration of the navy. No wonder the pirtes were in a bad mood!
Did you ever eat balut? :scared:

My old boss was in the Navy, and he used to brag about all the yucky foods from around the world he tried. :lmao:

Well, I'm starting to drop off, so I'd better get to bed before I crash. :rotfl:

Good night, kids! :cloud9:

1 box Saltine Crackers
1 party size veggie tray with dip
2 eggs of silly putty

TOTAL out of pocket...$2.83!!

Yes, I know strange combination of items, but now that I'm getting so much STUFF, I only buy it if it's free or almost free.:thumbsup2

Hiya Gina! Glad to hear you're feeling better. When you disappeared I thought maybe we had offended you. But then I though "naw, it's Gina, we can't offend her"!:rotfl2: Glad you're back!

So.... The pumpkin bread was a big hit. My husband ate a whole pan of it this morning. :rotfl2: I am going to say.... he liked it!

I have a parent teacher conference with Alex's teacher tomorrow. popcorn::

We were 19, and it was legal to drink in MN at 19 then (not sure if it still is.)
Gotta be 21, are you sure you weren't in Wisconsin instead? My sis is closer in age to you , when she was dating and not quite old enough to drink they would go across the bridge to Superior, WI.
MN passed their 21 to drink a few years before WI - having it the lower age meant the state would lose out on highway construction dollars from DOT. And you know how much MN loves to tear up its highways right? :lmao:

So.... my mom called me this morning. VERY ODD. She never calls midweek.. Especially early in the morning. :confused3 She works.. I couldnt figure it out. She kept asking if I was okay, and how I was feeling... and said that she just wanted to make sure I was doing okay. It was very bizarre.

UNTIL... we got off the phone and realized that it would have been my dads birthday. :sad2: Im such a spaz... Sheesh. I dont feel to bad for forgetting.. Because I cant even count on 2 hands the things I have forgotten this pregnancy. My own anniversary being one! Oh well. Im a crappy daughter. Whos surprised??? No one? I didnt think so!:lmao:

Aww.. Thanks. Sometimes I just feel like everyone expects me to take care of everything for them.. and I just cant do it anymore. I cant handle everything with my family, and be the communicator between my mom and my sister.. and keep up with all my moms stuff. :headache: Its just not gonna happen right now. I cant even remember what day it is most of the time.
