Melody... I dont know! We never call the kids by their names, unless they are in trouble. Alex is buddy... or turd nugget. Mikalah is smudge. I dont know why... But she is my little smudge.

how was your day?

ds4's preschool had a cool visit from (i think) folks from the pacific science center, to talk about winter. they brought small white cardboard boxes, i assume to build an igloo or some other shape. there were little slipper things to fit over shoes and simulate ice skating. and they decorated water bottles to look like snowmen, so cute! i'm so glad they did that before he was gone friday, i would have hated if he missed it. it sounded like they had so much fun!

okay... I just have to say.. The pictures that the ladies post of their babies over on the twin boards are TO FREAKING CUTE. The babies are always curled into each other.. and sometimes trying to nibble on the other. OMG. There is one where one baby is sleeping, and the other is awake trying to find his sassy.. and is sucking on the other babies forehead!!

Awesome!! That sounds like it was a blast!

My day was fine.. Hubby went shooting today, and Alex had a half day. I have been having RIDICULOUS contractions all day. not very often, so nothing to worry about. But still.. OW. Alex got to feel the boy kick.. Man does he get excited over that! Its too cute to see his little eyes just light up!

oh good god, no!

but the laundry and housecleaning are nearly done, whew! tomorrow is the big packing day.

last time i had the bags open in the living room for several days, and it just didn't work out. the cat kept hopping in to sleep, and ds4 kept getting into the bags and dragging stuff out, wrinkling up all the clothes and generally being a royal pain in the neck. so i learned my lesson.
