Another Universal is for trash and thugs thread

I guess you can just put the blame on me and my fiance for having a couple pairs of pants with chains on them that we wear from time to time.


Oh yeah... did I mention that this "thug" used to work for the Police Department and is now a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and his "thug" fiance is an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) and has been for 6 years???

The only bad behavior I have ever seen has been at WDW. We were in autograph row at MGM and one of the characters (dressed as Eeyore) got slapped in the head pretty hard by some little punk who just came running up, slapped and took off. I saw him outside later waiting for a bus with another kid, I felt like walking up to him and suckerpunching him just for the hell of it. Whoever was in that Eeyore costume was led away with hands on its head, must have been hurt pretty good. The way the kid did it odds are it wasn't the first time it had been done either.

Idiots are everywhere - to even BEGIN to think that morons only visit Universal is unfair and extremely biased.

Also , the last time I checked, the Brazilian tour groups visit ALL the theme parks and short of me opening a bag of worms, I'll just say that they make things difficult and unpleasant.

If anything - they probably go to WDW more than the other parks because it's more known

A world without theme parks is no world at all!!!

I am still a huge disney fan - but those guys take it WAY too seriously (sense of humour bypasses or what??!!) - you (or should I say 'Us'!!! ) Universal guys rock!!!

I wear jean shorts and a t-shirt that has something to do with fishing all the time.And of coarse a hat..
The pixie dust just donn't do it for me or my family anymore.So BE-IT.

I'm not a thug.I'm a working man that wants to show my family a good time..

Where I go is my personal prefrence.

I find more joy doing the things we want,not the status queo..

So please put this to rest..

Someone made a very valid point - those of us who are open minded to Universal ALSO love all the other parks.

We're not Universal or NOTHING - it's all about the experience at the Theme Parks themselves.

It's a lost battle. I say LEAVE THEM BE!!! Less bodies when Harry Potter opens

Let's be positive - hopefully the thread will do its job - weed out those saccharin addicts who are addicted to the "magic" and expect their kids to get slobbered on by a princess every 30 minutes or else their vacation is ruined. We don't need "magic" to have a great time at Universal - we just like the rides!

I have no doubts that if you slapped the name "Disney" in front of either of the Universal parks and bussed a group of unknowning Disney lovers there, they would be singing the praises of the parks for weeks!

Sorry, this subject just gets me riled up sometimes! I'll be nice from here onward.

I just don't know what to do--you see we're from West Virginia. So, I'm torn into trying to dress like a thug or blackening my teeth and not wearing shoes.

Help me out homies--what should I do????

1. Yes, blacken a few teeth.

5. Low-cut Daisy Dukes and a thong.

I've been hanging out here and at the Disney theme park boards before our October trip. I read the thread that everyone here is talking about and am somewhat bemused at how angry people get with each other. I really don't understand how someone can "hate" a theme park. I can see finding it not to my taste, or not what I expected, or not interesting to me, but hate is such a strong word and makes me wonder if the main reason the original poster posted the thread is because they need other people to agree with them to feel better about their experiences at Universal.

As I told my spouse tonight...I don't care for certain styles of cars, but that doesn't mean that my taste is superior to someone who does like those style of cars. It just means that my taste is different than theirs and I don't need anyone to agree with me and tell me that I am right in order to have a valid opinion.

And I'm sure that I will enjoy some things at Universal and not enjoy other things. But then, the same is true for me at WDW.

For your initiation, you will be forced to endure a spa treatment, or possibly two, at Portofino. I hear it's so nasty they even stoop to using mud and hot rocks for some of them. Low-class Italian thug freaks....
