I guess I just don't see why people act like they can't like both Uni & WDW. They are very different to me. The woman was looking for tips/advice on saving money, not advice to cancel half the trip. >.<

People really annoy me when they tell someone else not to even bother going because they themselves didn't enjoy it. Do they ever stop to think that many, many, many other people love it?

We've been to Disney, we've been to Universal/IOA... We're going to USO/IOA this year because we want to escape reality for a few days. Isn 't that why we go? To just enjoy your family... experience some cool rides and shows and just RELAX!!

We live in Atlanta... we could go to 6flags... but that isn't escaping. We can get on a plane, fly to Orlando, check into a hotel, go to a park and forget all our worries, either for a long 7 day trip or a short 3 day trip. Whatever... it is usually just what "life" has ordered. Our 11 and 16 year old are a bit too old for princess & pirates. But bring on The Mummy, DD and The Hulk. We are also really looking forward to The Simpsons Ride. - Won't miss MIB though... that's my fav!

We're blessed with living in a county that has a balanced calendar, so we have a week out in Sept. I couldn't ask for a better time to visit ANYWHERE in Orlando. It's the time spent together that makes the trip "magical".

So when you are planning a trip, think about what you are really doing... ESCAPING!! If you feel like amazing rides, cool hotels, and FOTL passes, choose USO/IOA. If you're looking for pixie dust and mouse magic... visit DisneyWorld...

Just don't try to compare the 2. There is nothing in the world like either one of these amazing escapes!!
