Is deluxe the one to get?

We use deluxe, but it really depends on your needs. Check the box. There's a chart that compares all the versions and you can choose the one that applies to your situation.

It depends on what your needs are. Usually, we buy the regular one. This year, we bought the deluxe version since we sold our house.

If you look on the back of the box, it gives the details on what is covered in each of the programs.

We used turbotax.com. You can start with the basic and if you get to a point where you need to do something that isn't available on that version you can upgrade right then and it just transfers everything you already entered. You don't pay till the very last step when you submit your taxes. We started with the cheaper version and ended up with premier because we needed to file some capital gains from selling stock options.
