i am comparing a couple plans an see the following:
AIG Travelguard has the best I believe for missing cruise due to flight being delayed or cancelled. If I am reading it right as long as any delay or cancellation causes us to miss we would be covered. This plan only has $25,000 per person for medial coverage and is "secondary"
Global Alert has a policy with $250,000 for medical and not secondary. Their trip interrruption part states that the delay of flight has to be at least 12 hours. The flight we were looking at leaves at 8:30 pm arriving 12am the day of the cruise. So we would still be ok right? if we were on a flight 12 hours later we should be landed by noon. Not ideal but technically could work right?
I guess my question is does $25,000 in medical coverage sound reasonable? I know anything can happen. Or should I go with Global Alert?
