i know i asked a question earlier on the boards about it i just have one other question how far do you usually drop is it a very long one or is it a buch of small ones i can do the small one but not a very long one i need help:scared1:

It's different everytime. You do drop multiple times but not all of them are from the very top to the bottom. They do add some small "teaser" drops.

Its completely random, so you have no idea what you're going to get, any time you ride.

When I went 2 weeks ago, most of my drops were almost the entire way down. [13 stories.] However, I had a few small ones.

If the idea of randomness isn't your cup of tea, I'd suggest to opt out.

Have a magical trip, though! :D

::yes:: ^^

when I went a few years ago they had just started to do the random ride sequences and I got like 6 little bouncy ones

I don't like freefall rides AT ALL so I didn't enjoy it too much
but you might, go for it!

when i rode it last month it only dropped the full 13 stories once and i went on there twice there were lots of little drops it was very fun

:scared1: I am too scared to go on Tower of Terror.:scared1:

According to Stacy, "You never know whatcha gonna get!"

:rotfl: So true.

For the OP, you are strapped in really well. You have a lap belt and handles on the sides on you between each seat, so you can hold on. I think everyone should ride ToT atleast once. I was terrified of it too, but after I rode it once, I was hooked.

It is completely random. Although, if you go at a high traffic time, it's altered a bit and the ride is shorter with less long drops. I've timed and counted myself over various trips. Early morning and late at night tend to feature longer rides and longer drops (but seriously, at night, the view from the top is well worth it!). And when you're going matters, too. I was there in February over vacation and it was busy so our rides were shorter, but they're longer in early December during the slower season.

it is completely random, but in my experience, there is ALWAYS on drop from the top to the bottom.

Out of all the times I've ridden, I've only not had a full drop once. It does happen, but it is extraordinarily rare.

I went on it three times about a week ago.
Two were at park opening (almost no wait if u go right there from rope drop)
And the other was at night.

Being the thrill ride lover that I am
The drops never seemed that big.
Although I'm sure we dropped all the way at least once each trip.

When I rode at night, the ride seemed longer and the drops were larger.
But the fact is it is random so you never know exactly what you will get.
I would recommend it...i was scared to go on when I saw it at first.
But it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!
