another tip question.

We are not cash carriers. Are you able to put the tip on your card even if you use the DP, or should we suck it up and bring cash? I'd assume if we buy an app OOP that it be no problem. But if we don't have any OOP expense that's where I'm confused.

I will add one thing though. The tip has to be written in BEFORE you give the card to the waitress. It doesn't go on after like you do in most restaurants.

Unfortunately one server on our first trip (first aDR) got a much lower tip then we would normally give because we didn't understand this. We asked after if we could add a tip but they couldn't do it then. We didn't have enough cash on us as we normally don't carry any.
