Another Ticket Question

I just telephoned 407-w-disney, they were of no help. They claim they have no information on the new tickets.

Has Disney published the new ticket structures, if so, where!!! I can't find anything directly from Disney.

We are going in February, and possibly again in the fall. I want to buy 10 day Park Hoppers, (no expiration - because if we don't go, don't want to loose them!!) not sure if I should buy them under the old structure, or will they be sold with the MYW structure? I can't find any comparison of the 10 days?

Also, if I am able to buy the 10 days, will Disney take my old PHP tickets and add the pluses to the new ticket, (for convenience), or will I have to carry around 2 sets of tickets?

According to reports, these new ticket plans caught EVERYONE at CRO / WDTC off guard. All staff members are rotating through training sessions before they are even permitted to answer questions about the new tickets. The press release was less than a week ago, so I suspect there will be a lot of confusion through the end of the year.

You could try calling back--perhaps you will get someone who has been trained and can answer your questions.

The new passes go into effect on January 2nd. If you are visiting after that date, you should be able to trade in existing, unused PHPs for credit toward the new tickets. You'll have to do some calculations on your own to determine whether an upgrade will be more economical than just buying a second set of passes outright.

You will not be able to have your plus options from the PHP added to a MYW ticket or any other ticket.

Look at all options for this length stay very closely. Right now, regular annual passes (4 park hopper without DD or water parks) can be purchased through WDW for $379 for adults and $322 for children.

I am going in March for the third year in a row and priced a Dreammaker package for 7 days and seven nights. This includes length of stay ultimate park hopper passes. The price was higher than getting the room and annual passes.

Just some thoughts.
