Another thing I hate about VMK

The imbeciles that approve VMK ride team submissions sent me a letter that said that I registered too late. I JUST checked the submission file ( I always keep a backup of my communication to VMK ) And the datestamp is before the deadline. This ticks me off so fricking much. I Really want to just quit VMK and their dumb events. AGH. .

Lol. It takes me a long while to get this seriously ticked off. I have been constantly trying to play nice with the brats, boyfriend girlfriend, and staff. Now I am sick and tired of it and it ticks me off.

I havn't played for a long time (not even a week). Anyways, I think that your a very nice fellow and deserve to be able to have fun. But with the brat situation I can't help. But you do realize that the game can be played by littler kids.

Dark my dear friend I think that VMK is having major problems with this event as there has been now three teams that i have seen that have been told they sent it in too late!!! i am nt one of them i hope ill have to ask my team leader but i think im all set but calm down and im sure it will work out just fire them a letter with your fidings in it and im sure it will work out ok for you.

I feel your pain!! I'm quite annoyed with the boyfriend/girlfriend thing!! I also cannot stand the begging! And sadly it's moving to here on the DIS.

Maybe since they read these forums and your team consists almost entirely of guests they disqualified you because they knew that you were using mules and didn't have 6 actual team members?

You didn't actually include all of your room names either.

and with the room names i did technically tell them what the names would be. Did they honestly expect me to name rooms I haven't even started on yet?

I thought I had heart somewhere that you couldn't use mules, but maybe I'm wrong.

But it did say that you needed the names of all of the rooms when you registered in the rules. So that is the most likely reason why your registration was not accepted--it wasn't because it was late. (remember, they sent you a canned response that probably went out to all of the teams that had one of those things happen to their room--so you only had to have one of those things be wrong with your entry).

If you reread what they had sent to you in their response to you is that you posted above, one of the reasons is:

You had access to the same information as the rest of us when it came time to register. Yes, it was difficult to come up with room names so early when many of us hadn't even started on the rooms, but we did it because that was the rule for the event.

So, I don't think that you don't really have a leg to stand on here, Dark. I don't think you can blame VMK for this one when you either overlooked one of the rules, or chose to ignore one of the rules. Sorry, my friend.

I explained to them what the ride names would be. They could have at least given me another chance to fix it.
