OK, so I got my first one, I really like it, and then DH came up with a really cool Mickey one that would symbolize my 3 kids in it. But I don't know where to get it! My 1st one was on the inside of my left wrist. Here is my criteria, lol:
I want to be able to see it
I don't want it on my ankle or foot
I need to loose weight, I am pooh sized right now  so no tummy, etc.

Any ideas for me?

Sorry, I missed hearing and seeing your first one. I am looking forward to getting one too. I am also interested in your DH idea for a mickey one including your three children. I do not have one yet, I am thinking about getting one soon though and I have three children and was wanting to get a Mickey or Minnie tatoo and if I could incorporate my children into it that would be great.:cool1:

BTW I grew up in KC area, last lived in Liberty before moving to Nebraska. Hope to return some day soon, following my divorce.

The one DH designed is a mickey head with the yin-yang symbol in it, except instead of 2 (the yin and the yang) there are 3. Each one would be a color representing the kids. It also ties in with my belief in karma, what goes around comes around.

I would have suggested stomach, hip or thigh area (pooh sized or not) or on your chest. I've had a few female friends with them on the chest and they said they didn't hurt at all compared to bonier areas. I have a tattoo from when I was much heavier and it still looks the same even losing weight. I think gaining weight does more to the design getting distorted than losing it.

What about on the back on your shoulder?

Upper arm? It would be visible to others, but you could always wear sleeves. Chest. I would wait for any tats on your stomach or hip if you are planning on losing weight. It could distort the image.

You've got the tattoo bug now, don't you? :hyper:

JMHO...I wouldnt get it on the arm or above the chest.... I just dont' like those... reminds me of places a guy would get them....don't know why.

Hip bone is cool.... Pooh sized or not, that shouldnt' change with weight loss, and will look fine if you stay the same.

I have one of mine on my lower back... and I think back of neck would be cool, but bad thing is..you can't see them (without 2 mirrors).

Maybe calf, or ankle? I like the inside of the wrist, why not do the other wrist??

... or the top of the foot? I've heard the foot hurts tho!!!

I have tattoos on my upper arms and my chest. Your upper arms are muscley and hurt less than boney parts of your body. On my chest wasn't bad.

Lower back screams tramp stamp to alot of people

I would say upper arm or calf.

BTW it's official your addicted. You just got your first one and are all ready planning your second. Welcome to the club

Yeah, I like them but I don't think I'm addicted. I just had 2 ideas about getting a tattoo, the one won and the other, well I still want to do it!

I really don't like the calf, but I *might* consider the ankle. I really don't like a place I can't cover if I need too, and if I am going somewhere and want to wear a skirt I would need a band-aid or something.

No foot! Hurts too much!

The upper arm is OK, but I don't know! I like the idea of the hip, especially if as I loose weight (please let me loose weight!) it won't change. However my c-section scar is REALLY big. (emergency C and twins) Are you suggesting the outside of my hip? Like you could see it if I stood sideways?

I like the idea of my chest, but DH might get jealous if I drew on his "play toys":rotfl:

Maybe the front on my shoulder rather than on the side of my arm? Would that hurt? I never wear sleeveless things.

Evil Genius, where is the one (or ones) on your chest?

I was talking to a friend and he was telling me I am a negative person sometimes, like I put myself down a lot. Someone gives me a compliment and I'll say "yes, but..." and I said "There is my tattoo! I'll get the word "yes" tattooed on my butt!!!"
