another SW question ....

I have never flown south west and truthfully have only flown at all a few times

we are flying out of ALbany NY to Orlando on 10/1 and returning 10/10

right now SW rate for 6 of us is $1310.40


is that a good rate or should i wait

i know airfare is expensive but i have no idea if for 6 people that is okay or not

I am coming up with 1249.80 for 6 on your dates. Not the best flight time coming back, but, it does save some money.

Providence RI to MCO is $1069.80 for dates
Hartford CT is $1060.20 - forget Manchester for six.

maybe Buffalo? Islip? Baltimore? (its a stretch in miles)

its supply and demand

as seats get scarce on a flight, the lower fares disappear, especially when you need more than 3 or 4 seats.

You gotta book early - on SWA even if fares go down you get a credit (have to call though).

Either book at one of those airports and drive to the airport or keep the Albany fare. Its not a good or bad fare situation.

Southwest must be a dominant airline at Albany.

You don't need to call, you can cancel and rebook and all that credit stuff is right in their computers.
