I would like the beds split in one of my cabins. Should I request this ahead of time with my TA, at port check-in or just request it to my room steward when we get on board?

I was thinking they have to get another bed spread when they split them and they may need to know ahead of time.

Thanks :)

Your cabin steward will greet you shortly after you get to the room. You can just tell him/her at that time.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to call DCL ahead of time, but it really isn't necessary.

If you have your TA call DCL and have them make a note on your record, the room steward will know in advance of your arrival and could make up the room that way when the prior passengers leave. That way, you'd be all set, with no extra work from your room steward.

I had it noted on my reservation by requesting it ahead of time, but the beds were still together in the kid's room when we arrived.
